Profitable Decision Gbolade Adekoya, a twenty-nine years old son of one of grandma’s children, he was an older cousin to Gbenga. He arrived at the village around five pm on the 31st of December like others; he brought a loaf of bread to grandma Ololade, the old woman was very happy to see him, not because of the bread he gifted her but because he resided in Lagos and he was also working with a Motor Assembly company in Apapa wharf in Lagos. She said excitedly: “Gbolade my child, thanks for the bread, your grand children would do the same for you,” she prayed as she ended her speech. “Amen, Iya Agba,” Gbolade answered as he claimed the prayer from his grandmother happily.

His late father, Mayowa Adekoya was a Primary School Head teacher who died at the age of forty-three as a result of yellow fever complications. Gbenga passed out from the Local Authority Primary School in Tanimola Community at the age of thirteen; his hope of going to a Secondary School for further studies was dashed for lack of financial support from the Adekoya family. His mother, Modupe, who could have supported his education, had relocated to a far distance City with another husband two years after the death of Gbenga’s father; Modupe was thirty-five years old when she remarried.
