Lazy or Brilliant
Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, King Arthur, and Luke Skywalker… what do all of these characters have in common? If you guessed silly sounding names, you are… half right. The other thing they have in common are dead parents. Yes, one or more of the parental figures that made these characters has met an untimely demise and it’s a storytelling trope that’s as old as written literature, but we can expand that since in many cases the death of the parental figure wasn’t exactly what it seemed to be; we'll call that the “Dead from a certain point of view” clause in order for this discussion to move forward.

We'll Need a Highchair Here...
I knew that becoming a parent was going to present some challenges. I think it’s naïve to assume otherwise. Some of these challenges were completely expected in that obviously the larger your family the more money it costs to support them.

Facing an Invisible Foe
When you struggle with anxiety, the things most people take for granted become overwhelming obstacles. It affects so much about your entire life; your schedule, how you interact with your family, how many—if any—friends you have, how you interact with your spouse and your children, even affecting your job and career path.

Dark Night Part 5
While Kerse drove, I used my phone to scour the internet for any trace of Beverly in any historical documents. At one point I found a copy of Rosa Park’s arrest report, which I thought was odd at first, given that there was no obvious link. “Did Beverly have anything to do with the Civil Rights movement?” I asked.

Dark Night Part 4
I would love to say this kind of thing was just a casual headache, a minor nuisance in my paranormal adventures, but no this was pretty scary. Every fiber of my being told me get the hell out of there. This is why Scott didn’t want to come in the house, this ghost right here. I noticed the ring of light from my flashlight subtly vibrating, and soon realized it was because I was trembling. “Hi.” My voice cracked and I cleared my throat. “Ahem…hi.” I finally managed. “You…you must be Beverly.”

Does 'Batman v Superman' Make Sense?
On the outside, Batman v Superman is a complete mess from beginning to “MARTHA!” Now I’m not going to ever claim it’s a great movie; to be sure, it has its storytelling flaws and would certainly be better if some characters were moved around or replace, or you didn’t have a studio that deleted entire scenes that explained what the plot.

Dark Night Part 2
So, before I keep going, I need to go slightly off topic for a minute…someone messed with the first part of this story. I mean they really messed with it, because I remember specifically mentioning that I drove from Texas to Michigan, about twenty two hours. Somehow that got removed from my final post. I tried taking it down, tried editing it afterwards, but every time, the same block of text went missing. This is going to require some investigation.
