Poetry or Short Story?
Sometimes, when I get mad, I start to speak in metaphors. Honestly, arguments with me often sound like talking to a very upset or distressed female version of Dr. Seuss. Which, being mad, is certainly the last person I want to sound like. But I have always loved writing and singing. It's one of those things that comes more naturally to me. Not to say I am good at it, just comfortable with it. So here, I'll share with you some of my work from over the years. After three poems, there is a short story based on a real story. I'll be doing a few more publishes along those lines soon. In the meantime! Enjoy.

Wombats... Glow? So do squirrels and many others...
Authors Note: Thank you for reading! This article is actually in dedication to my Husband, who is bound and determined to forever see my Article; "Why is Wombat poop Square?" as my number one read article. He loves the strangeness in it and he loves how random it is compared to my typical Fantasy/Poem writings. So this article, hopefully, serves as sufficient competition to my previous. If you like this article, go ahead and hit that like and subscribe for more! If you have any questions or concerns, this link will take you to my Facebook Page, where I also take requests to promote your own articles if you are interested! Otherwise, carry on! Make healthy choices and be safe! đź–¤

Three short but true stories to tell three reasons for the odd name of a small island with the curse of a pirate... The Locals of Boston Harbor have always warned to beware of Nix's Mate. For visitors and tourists who didn't know, Nix's Mate was not a person, but an island. An island that today is rather too small to notice unless you were really looking for it. Nowadays, the island is only really 200 Sq ft. Consisting of a small gravel Beach during low tides but otherwise, all that seemed to fit on this strange little island was an eerie little Lighthouse. This lighthouse stood twelve ft tall and about forty sq ft. wide.

Lost words
Heart rate slowed... silk sheets lightly brushing his iced skin. His pale eyes staring up at the ceiling as he drew in his final ragged breath, or so he thought. Closing his eyes, he felt as though he were missing something. Death couldn’t quite touch his soul yet. Death couldn’t guide him into the uncertainty of the afterlife until… Opening his eyes once more, his hazy vision settled on a plump nurse who seemed so cautious of him, so careful in her movements, he began to feel as if the very air around him had become fragile.
