Therapy Benefits of CBD use
After a Road Traffic Accident in 2017, I sustained injuries which at the time, I thought to myself, 'oh well it will go away in a few weeks, and I can get back to my normal work & life pattern.' It's now 2021 and over those years in between, the pain levels have simply intensified, to include mobility issues which, to this day, have never diminished. Earlier this year I gave up working as a mental health nurse after having contracted Covid-19 in 2021 and required intensive hospitalization & oxygen therapy. Prior to discharge, the hospital discharge planning team had adaptations made to my home to support me with my worsened mobility. 7 months after discharge I made attempts at phased returns to my hospital nursing post but after three attempts of trying to walk/run around the ward, provide personal care and necessary/proportionate/justified restraint, care-planned for safety, I found I was struggling and at times (at the end of the 12-hour shift) was experiencing severe problems with driving back from work to our home just a mere 17 miles away.

Long Covid & The Equality Act 2010
The Equality Act 2010, as most readers of this article will already know well is an Act of Parliament passed in the United Kingdom during the time of Gordon Brown’s leadership with the primary purpose of consolidating, updating, and supplementing the numerous prior Acts and Regulations, that formed the basis of anti-discrimination law in mostly England, Scotland, and Wales, relating more specifically at those people with disability and/or religious, moral, or ethnic background. An Act to ensure that none of these so-called ‘conditions’ would initiate a negative impact upon the past, present, or future opportunities for employment prospects. Ensuring that everyone wanting to gain work could do so, without fear of the narrow-minded attitudes adopted by some employers used for the screening of job applications.
