Why 'Black Panther’s' T’Challa Is Poised to Become the Most Lucrative Superhero Ever
The original film permanently changed the game, grossing over $700 million domestically and becoming the third-highest-grossing film released to date in the U.S. and Canada. Though that figure is unadjusted for inflation, ponder this: on an adjusted basis, the film places #30 of all time.

George Lucas Did Not Rape My Childhood, but His Sith Informed My Politics
Oprah Winfrey killed it on this year’s Golden Globe Awards. The ovation was staggering. Men and women both were crying. Brooklyn College. I loved Brooklyn College. The time of my life, until I met my wife. I’ll set the scene further... The Year is 1982. I was 18, and living with my parents. I was painfully shy in high school, did not attend my prom, and had no friends. I received great report cards, made Honor Roll every semester, but I was not a social kind of guy. I neither watched nor played any sports. I spent my well-earned leisure time reading monster magazines and comic books, and watching old movies.

Op-ed from an Avowed Anti-Trumper: If Those of Us on “The Left” Condone an Artistic Blacklist, Will Nazism Be Next? (Or, Why Conservatism in 2018 Hollywood Is the New “Gay.”)
The provocative headline is only partially clickbait. Softening it for effect or to make myself look better won’t happen. I want this one read, and read hard. I want the word “radioactive” associated with this story, and even with my name for the near-future, for boldly stating such “nonsense.” Why? Because I want you all to think, intently, where we’re headed.
