Sweet Cosplay You Got There LA Cosplay Con
I had the pleasure of attending The LA Cosplay Convention yesterday at the Long Beach Convention Center. It was a one day event filled with fun panels, great human beings, and some pretty amazing cosplay. I wanted to take a second to share a few favorites with you while I try to remember who everyone was. I met a lot of people. Also, there may have been some drinking.

Weirdly Awesome Publicity Stunt Sees Horror Icons At A Baseball Game
I'll open with this, Japan is amazing. I say that without a spec of irony or sarcasm. Sure, they are a little weird sometimes, but that's what makes them amazing. That awesome weirdness shone bright like a diamond during a publicity stunt for the upcoming movie Sadako vs. Kayako (The Ring and The Grudge, respectively) which showcases two iconic, long-haired, creepy ladies going head to head. Toshio's going to be there, too, I guess. So how do you promote a Freddy vs Jason styled movie with two of Japan's most iconic horror characters? Have Sadako throw the ceremonial first pitch to Kayako at a baseball game, of course. Because if there are two things people love, it's creepy dark haired ladies and baseball.

Dorian Time: The Dragon Age Fan Series You Need To Be Watching Right Now
Do you like Dorian Pavus? Of course, you do, everyone loves Dorian Pavus. According to the survey done by Dorian himself, he's the most well-liked character in the entire Inquisition. The accuracy of the survey might be questionable, though. Well, if you're a fan of the character then Parle Productions has something that will sate your need for more Dorian. They've recently released a video called "Dorian Time" where the man with the mustache himself talks through various topics like the goings on of the Inquisition, the finer points of Orlesian wine, and the most important topic of all, Dorian himself.

Take A Look At This Epic Grey Fox Cosplay
One thing I admire about cosplayers is the amount of work they're willing to put in for their costumes. Whether they're a beginner or a seasoned pro, you know that what they're wearing isn't just a costume but a culmination passion and maybe a few sleepless nights sprinkled in. Basically, they're a one person props and costume department which is why when I see really, really good cosplay I don't even dare imagine how much time it must have taken to get there. Self-proclaimed "wannabe artist" Diegator is one of those cosplayers that gave me pause the moment I saw his epic Grey Fox cosplay from Metal Gear Solid. Take a look.

Cosplayer Gets The Surprise Of A Lifetime From 'Force Awakens' Star
I think it's pretty common knowledge by now, but I'll say it anyway, the internet is amazing. We're at a weird point in our society where people who would seem pretty inaccessible even a few years back are just a Twitter mention away. Naturally, there are pros and cons to having that bridge between stars and fans. Right now, I just want to focus on the awesome.

Sneaky Zebra Puts Awesome Cosplay from WonderCon On Display
Sneaky Zebra recently teamed up with Comic-Con HQ to show off some of the best cosplay they could find during WonderCon 2016. Set to an awesome song by the band Timeflies, the video has some familiar faces for fans of cosplay and just a bunch of awesome costumes packed into four minutes of pure nerdgasm. Also, there was someone cosplaying as Mugatu from Zoolander so that's a thing that happened. I love conventions so much. Check out the video below!
