Untapped Potential
“Quentin, do you like this place? You like knowing that you’re not alone. It’s not like you have much right now. No family calls you, you go to a community college and have average grades. Nothing about you is too extraordinary. You have the same gifts as your brother. Charles does, but he seems to be the more blessed one.”

In My Blood
Quentin managed to sit there after being thrown a small cell that could barely hold someone of his size. All he was able to do was sit upright for now. Standing would be awkward and he would hit his head. Q was not that tall and for his height, this was making his anxiety peak. Torture came once again. Once again he was hurt. A large gash on his side of his stomach was apparent from this. Holding his lower abdomen as the creature went to chain him up again. A single shackle on his foot. Xavier had enough of being tormented and abused by these beings. His side was to the bars of the prison cell as he used it to help keep himself straight.

The Prophecy
A sound close by alerted Kahlan. Footsteps pounded on the ground as she tried to escape the beast who was in her pursuit. Wings flapping as the trees bent to the winds of the oncoming creature, rushed by the with. In the distance, a clearing was there. She knew where it was and was going to avoid it but it seemed the beast was guiding her there. Panic coursed through the woman as her feet contacted the ground beneath her. Her dress flying behind her as she ran, her mind was only focused on surviving. This night was not going as planned. First she freed the group of children and was almost caught. The Druids met her in this very woods before the winged foe appeared and caused the group to scatter. No, this shouldn't be happening. It was not in the plan. Please let me live. Kahlan pleaded silently.

All My tears Ricochet
When I wake up to your footsteps As you get up out of bed They make a song that sounds so simple The cold, brisk walk outside the car made Quentin pull his hoodie closer to him. His hood was drawn up tight. The light drizzle made the dead of winter miserable. It still did not stop him from going to the graveyard where his sister was buried.

Drowning In A Sea of Misery
Quentin never told anyone about this. The very incident that set off his telepathic & telekinesis abilities. To this day, looking at the ocean brings a wave of panic and anxiety that only the mutant knew about. He never confessed to Charles. The mere thought of what occurred often sent him into a depressive state, which often resulted in alcoholic binges and screaming ‘why me’ into the night.
