Or, well, not entirely isolated, for within the wilderness, there dwelled both the mighty and the meek among the spirits, the great and the small, coexisting in a mystical balance. Yet, during this distant era, long before humans graced the Earth with their presence, there existed only one river coursing through the entire expanse. This petite river, with its saline waters, belonged to the diminutive hedgehog, a gift from a wokloni, a benevolent dwarf spirit:
