The Jedi Order were the guardians of the Republic for generations before the rise of the Empire. Force-sensitive beings from across the galaxy were trained from an extremely young age, and apprenticed to an older, more experienced Jedi, before completing their training and being elevated to Knighthood. The Jedi Council claimed that taking a youngling away from their family was essential in preventing attachments that would be a hindrance to their Jedi training and could be a temptation to the dark side.

What Disney Theme Parks Tell Us About 'Star Wars'
Many people consider the Disney Company to be a movie studio first and foremost. However, what many people do not know is that Disney makes most of it's profits, not from it’s movies, but from theme parks. In many ways Disney’s entire company enterprise is to first and foremost serve it’s theme parks. Content is made to be put in it's theme parks, new IP’s (intellectual property) means new rides and new characters for the parks. So when Disney made Galaxy's Edge it was obvious from the get go that they had plans to fully use Star Wars as a means to make profit from their theme parks. However it is how they built the Star Wars section of the Disney parks that is the most intriguing. If we look at the theme parks we can see that, perhaps Disney's long term plans for Star Wars are beyond the movies and Disney + shows themselves.

How Keaton's Batman Can Actually Damage 'The Flash'
Fan excitement for Andy Muschietti’s The Flash movie is peaking due in part to the recent release of its teaser trailer. While it has been a pleasant change to see another movie focusing on one of the other well-known heroes from the DC Universe, it may be shooting itself in the foot and falling into a bit of a trap. This comes in the shape of the supporting character in the movie, Batman, more specifically, Michael Keaton’s triumphant return as the caped crusader. The production has received its fair share of attention since it was announced, but it is safe to say the attention has shifted somewhat from Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen to Michael Keaton’s Batman/Bruce Wayne.
