One of Star Wars fan’s favorite video games is turning 10 years old next month on December 20. Star Wars: The Old Republic was first released in 2009. It is an MMORPG game which, when it was released, was created to rival the biggest MMORPG of them all, World of Warcraft. While that was cool and all, it wasn’t what really made Star Wars: The Old Republic famous or exciting. That came in the form of the trailers that proceeded the game’s release.

Did Disney Save Star Wars?
When 2012 happened and George Lucas sold Lucasfilm to Disney many wondered just what would happen to our beloved galaxy far, far away. No one quite knew what would happen to Star Wars without its beloved creator at the helm. Well, after eight years it is fair to say that Star Wars has not only survived but has thrived with more content and creativity than Star Wars fandom has ever dreamed about. There are movies, television shows, comics, and books galore. There is probably more Star Wars content now than there has ever been before. Although it was not always that way.

Why Andrew Garfield Is The Best Spider-Man
There has been a lot of chatter about which characters may appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. It looks like it is going to be one of the biggest movies of the year. It would be fantastic if all the rumors are true and previous iterations of Spider-Man were to return. Personally, I think The Amazing Spider-Man series really defines who the character is as both Peter Parker and Spider-Man.

BioWare Gives Pleasing Update On 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' MMO
BioWare made one of the greatest Star Wars video games with Knights of the Old Republic. They followed it up with the also fantastic Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Fans longed for Knights of the Old Republic III, but after The Sith Lords, things went quiet from BioWare. Well, they did go on to make two small indie games called Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect, but things were completely silent on the Star Wars front. Then in 2011 BioWare released their follow-up to Knights of the Old Republic with an MMO aptly titled The Old Republic which, at the time, was the most expensive game ever made. Now, as the 10th anniversary of BioWare’s galactic MMO quickly approaches, BioWare commented on where the game will head to next.

New Book Reveals Qui-Gon Jinn's Legacy Lived On Outside Of The Jedi Order
While the prequel trilogy is remembered fondly by most of the Star Wars fandom nowadays, there was once a time it was not. Much like the sequel trilogy at the moment, this trilogy also divided fans at the time. However, there were some aspects of it that many enjoyed, namely some of the new characters and the actors portraying them. Ewan McGregor is easily the most famous with his performance as Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is usually classed as “the best” thing to come from the prequels, but another fan favorite character is his master Qui-Gon Jinn.
