Opinion: George Lucas' Biggest Mistake With The Special Editions
With the Special Editions, George Lucas introduced countless changes to the original trilogy. Most of them were done to restore the degrading picture and sound quality or add special effect shots that were not possible in the late 70s and early 80s. But some of these changes were more controversial, like adding a digital Jabba the Hutt in A New Hope, whose appearance is, to say it kindly, leaves some room for improvements, or the infamous “Han didn’t shoot first” alteration.

Should 'Star Wars' Directors Start Focusing On The Story Rather Than Callbacks?
It is almost that time of year again and everyone loves an Easter egg, right? Of course, I am not talking about the chocolate variety. I am referring to those little gems that get inserted into trailers, movies, and television shows that are designed to surprise the observant out there who happen to notice them. These days, it feels like we are engaging in an Easter egg hunt rather than watching a story unfold.

'Moon Knight' Episode 2 Review
WARNING: SPOILERS FOR MOON KNIGHT EPISODE 2 “Summon the Suit” “Summon the Suit” picks up with echoes of Moon Knight beating the jackal from episode 1, then the camera moves to sand, more specifically Steven’s anti-sleepwalking sand surrounding his bed. Right off the bat, directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead seamlessly continue the visual language and motifs established in episode one, specifically utilizing upside-down shots, mirrors, and reflections. So far this visual storytelling is one of the things that really stands out about Moon Knight when comparing it to other MCU streaming shows.

Japanese Spider-Man Designed For 'Into The Spider-Verse 2'
One of the best animated films of all time is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. When it was released in 2018, it was instantly met with near universal acclaim from audiences and critics alike, scoring a 97% approval rating from the critics and 93% from general audiences on the critic site, Rotten Tomatoes, and garnered a win for Best Animated Feature at both the Golden Globes and the Oscars. To top it off, it made over $375 million worldwide. Suffice to say, the film was a smash hit in every possible way. It did miss out on a Best Picture nomination, but, you know, Oscars gotta Oscar. Genre bias strikes again. In any case, a sequel was all but guaranteed, and not just because of the cliffhanger ending.

Who Exactly Was Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas?
Most of us know Sifo-Dyas as the Jedi Master who ordered the creation of the clone army before the events of Episode I: The Phantom Menace. But as is usually the case with Star Wars, there is more to the character than meets the eye. Sifo-Dyas was one of the few Jedi in the history of the order with the ability of Foresight. Meaning he could clearly see future events. He was also a close friend to his eventual murderer, Count Dooku.

Why Should I Be Excited for 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' on Disney+?
A common worry when asking about the Obi-Wan Kenobi series coming out on Disney+ is that it is going to be boring. Didn't Obi-Wan spend the time between Episode 3 and 4 of Star Wars on Tatooine just making sure nothing bad happened to Luke? If so, then the worst that could happen is an unfortunate event with a bounty hunter or a Krayt Dragon, and that could take two maybe three episodes, hardly a season. There is also NO WAY that Vader goes to Tatooine looking for anyone, because he hates the planet and believes that Padme died prior to giving birth to their children. It begs the question, what makes this series worth watching and how excited should I be?
