Along Came A Dog
I love dogs. My family loves them too. My parents love the idea of a dog, but when it comes to having a dog visit our house or the idea of raising one, they were never really that keen on having one. Maybe it was having a dog when they were kids and losing them, or just not having a pet for so long since they moved from their homes in Sri Lanka, my parents probably just didn't want to invest a lot of time into a dog or any pet in that manner. But that all changed when we met Bowser. Bowser came into our lives through my sister's husband (who was her fiancé at the time when he first brought over Bowser). Usually, he would come over to either pick up or drop off my sister. But this time, he curiously was taking a while to get out of his car. Usually, we would hear the sound of his car pulling into the driveway, and within a minute there would be the ring of a doorbell. But he was taking a little more time than usual, with the back door of his car open, and him hunching down to get something. I got curious and walked out the door to greet him. And then came one of the nicest surprises.

Why The Office, Works
It's been 17 years since the first episode of The Office came out, and almost 10 years since the series had finished its run on NBC in 2013. But its a funny thing how popularity and cultural relevance works in the entertainment industry. There are plenty of shows/movies/music/fads that came out in the year 2005 that were huge successes and super popular at the time, but fail to hold a scintilla of that same popularity today. So its quite surprising that a show about an office environment would be able to withstand the test of time, and become even more popular now than it ever was back in its original run. And its even more surprising that a show like The Office even was able to survive and have a run, considering it almost was given up on before it was able to find its footing.

Silence
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. In space, its quite quiet. As our alien creatures search the galaxies for planets and beings to take over for countless millennia, our life forms travel from one sector of the galaxy to the next, on missions to take over the land and resources that those civilizations had, and also to eliminate the beings from the existence of the universe. Our creatures can't have any competition or other beings living amongst us or along with us. Its only us and only us. We are not like other beings in the universe. Many other beings look and act a certain way. Our creatures adapt. That's why we have been able to be hidden from the eyes of other beings in other universes. Our body structures changed through the course of history. There were moments in history where we were super short, and then shot up in height. Then there was a good time frame where we were super fast and super strong. But now we realized that all those qualities pale in comparison to the most important quality: silence. Because silence works wonders on the psyche of the enemy. It drives event the most sane, insane.

A Mirrored World
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Space is vast, and space has only been a certain percentage explored. Its a scary place, or on a different viewpoint, one that is rife with endless ends of possibilities and discoveries. Its something that humans have been intrigued and fascinated by for centuries. In another endless bid to explore the realms of space, the crew of the Space Shuttle Frontier was heading towards a signal that was being produced from a nearby galaxy. The year is 2096, and at this point in the history of civilization, human beings are able to explore and travel at speeds and lengths that were previously thought to be impossible. Now, Space Shuttle flights were able to go near light speed, and now scientists had found ways for the passengers of the shuttles to be able to withstand the extreme speeds that the shuttles could go at, and also the amount of time the passengers would have to be on the shuttles.

Runaway Mission
The man woke up with a jolt of pain running through his body. He opened his eyes to the bright outdoor light filling into the train compartment from the window. He looked around at the compartment that he was in and it was made in almost an old school style, with wood furnishings and retro looking cushion seating. The man got up to feel his whole body slowly regaining itself from waking up. He had no recollection as to how he got there, and that he didn't recall what had happened prior to his waking up. As he looked outside, he saw that the train was going at a speed that it probably shouldn't be going at, with things passing by so fast it made the outside look like a blur. He felt the floor rumble here and there, probably due to the train going at an advanced speed.
