As a requirement for his degree, Gabriel had selected Psych 101 as one of his classes for the spring term. He had expected it to be led by a stuffy, nasally old man who psychoanalysed his students into tears. Instead, he had gotten Mr. Henderson. The man was perfect. Broad shoulders, thick thighs with a soft belly. He looked like he could bench press Gabriel and then make him pancakes afterwards. To top it off, his voice was soft, warm and buttery--pure music to listen to.

Workaholic
People tend to lead ridiculously busy lives. It is not at all surprising to hear such a fact. People spend so much of their time multitasking that even the idea of relaxation is infused with a twenty step plan. There is no such thing as an easy or simple day. If it does not involve at least five activities the day is wasted and people are ashamed of such a blatant misuse of their precious time.

Doorway in Denny's
It goes without saying that Denny’s is widely considered a family establishment. It is a place where good, wholesome families with a good, wholesome interest in old fashioned American food can gather for a nice night of dinner and pleasant memories. What with it’s penchant for paisley styled carpeting and thick batches of mashed potatoes, Denny’s does not conjure to mind anything other than warmth and comfort.

Siren's Song
The comforting, dazzling light of the nearby star urged Nivana to relax. Her limbs floated weightlessly, buoyed by the expanse of space all around her. Distant planets winked at her and cheerful nebulas bathed their infinite colors over her skin. Only her breathing and the occasional beeping reminder that her suit was in working order broke the silence of the universe.
