Sonia Heidi Unruh's haiku, Day's End, is packed with ephemeral beauty, movement, and vivid color. It encapsulates everything we love about haiku!

    My name is Nina Williams, and I am divorced. I have three kids with my ex-husband, who messed up my credit report before we got divorced. This made my life with my kids a living hell, and I felt frustrated. However, I met a friend in church who recommended H A C K M A V E N S CREDIT SPECIALIST. I contacted them, and within 7 days, they fixed my credit and increased my score from 515 to 785. Now, I can take loans, own a house, and run a business. If you have any credit-related issues, you can reach out to them via EMAIL: H A C K M A V E N S 5 @ G M A I L. C O M or Call/Text/Whats-App: [+ 1 (2 0 9) 4 1 7 ā€“ 1 9 5 7].

Hi, I'm John, general crazy person, teller of tall tales and occasional poet. Run don't walk to read Christy Munson's 'She Loves Me.' I promise you won't regret it. Additional bonus - it has a picture of an adorable puppy! https://vocal.media/fiction/she-loves-me-437h0e40

This was such a wonderful surprise! I'm so grateful! I do love writing haiku and have enjoyed many excellent Haiku offerings from other vocal writers recently. D.J. Reddall https://vocal.media/authors/d-j-reddall is particularly prolific in his often biting, always insightful commentaries on human nature and social trends. I'll highlight two: https://vocal.media/poets/ignis (winner of Matthew Fromm's unofficial challenge) https://vocal.media/poets/the-avengers-12780xy3

Hello, all! Iā€™m Brett! I specialize in poetry, but I write other things as well! I have been dedicating more of my time to my writing lately and have been loving it! Here is a very compelling piece by D. J. Redall: https://vocal.media/poets/my-fire-u85vd027m

  • Gabriel Huizengaabout a month ago

Hey all! I enjoy writing poetry about nature, social issues, and the shared aspects of our human experience. If that sounds pretty abstract- it absolutely is. I also enjoy the occasional short story - also nature-focused, but with the occasional tangent into the fantasy genre! I absolutely love this clever, descriptive, and all-around brilliant micro by Em: https://vocal.media/wander/a-siberian-story-tag-you-re-it

Friend, fellow independent author, and accomplished poet Bri Craig put out this article recently that I believe is an important topic, especially for creators on this particular site who may be considering their own publishing moves: https://vocal.media/writers/why-it-s-not-cringey-to-self-publish-your-own-book

  • Christy Munsonabout a month ago

Hi! I'm Christy Munson. I write without limits - sci-fi, romance, horror, family, prose, poetry, lyrics, whatever strikes me. I came to Vocal in 2021, took a year off to follow other passions (painting, jewelry, work, life). I was delighted to see how much the platform had grown by the time I returned in ~February of 2024. I started posting again at that time and have been prolific since returning, so I'm hoping to continue to be inspired here. Allow me to bring your attention to the wonders of Suze Kay's story, Women Who Stay. I found the story a must-read. Hope you do to. Be forewarned, you might want to set aside time to read all the chapters straight through. They're excellent. https://vocal.media/chapters/women-who-stay-1
