~Writers Write!~ Or Writers' Right! Either way it's the right Pun!

Hi, Everyone!

Here you will find where and how you can submit work without agents or publicists and enjoy building your portfolio from there! Along with my Big Industry LEAK share... for those pursuing the higher path needing to know which agencies and publicists to contact I will share stuff here on an ongoing basis, so you always have the most up to date information that I have found and know needs to be shared with all of you, so that everyone will have all the best opportunities possible!

Let me start with my most recent gem of a prize found for all my American friends ... The Washington Writer's is an Organization that has constant ongoing contests for everything from small 3 line poems all the way up to Anthology submissions with publication deals upon winning the contest, with a First place take home win of $2000 in prize money! They have winning amounts that range from as low as $100 from what I could see in my research. I am proud to say these guys are actually FOLLOWING ME on my Instagram.

So yesterday I proudly followed back and touched base with them about whether they will ever or have ever made any exceptions for publications of people's works or submissions to their contests from places outside of the jurisdictions they've listed and even outside of the Country? Of course they’re following me piqued my curiosity so I of course had to ask! But since I only sent the message yesterday and I am writing this article today, they haven't answered yet!

But when and if they do I will be sure to share their response to me with all of you here too! But now back to talking about them and what they do... And that is that there are plenty of opportunities in all ranges of contests for winners to be had through the Washington Writers'! So if you live within the required districts for being able to submit to these events, or know people or have family that do, whom you've visited or where you have lived for a time in your life, whose addresses you can use then look no further and start here with pursuing that first impact towards a sustainable and lasting career as a published and paid writer in America that doesn't require an Agent or publicist first before reaching and having the success you deserve!

Now on to my next tidbit of valuable information for all of you...

Below you will find information for where you can send short articles and poems that are about food, health, the planet, political injustice and community issues, around housing crisis, the prices of everything and so on! I write for both of the following important community voices, and would love to make new friends out here in writer's land and look at possible options for collaborations on very important issues that matter in neighborhoods just like mine here in the Downtown East Side of Vancouver, B.C. Canada in Cities of different Countries all over the world! There is no border between us when it comes to life sustaining matters that concern us all and the well-being of our planet so that we can go on living here on it without worrying every day if this will be our last one before the earth dies and we die with it? But it's true Global warming and the greenhouse effect are matters that can't be ignored no matter where any of us happen to be living, because we are ALL going through it together!

Safe and healthy food is everyone's right, and there are not enough places for people to share their voices, and views and provide ideas or solutions that will work either from thorough research or real life lived experiences!

The Right to Food Zine is always looking for new people to share their thoughts, whether in the form of a poem, article, song, recipes, pictures, or art work! We pride ourselves as a place where everyone can be heard, that everyone has the right to a voice about those issues that matter most to us all! Anyone with a talent in this industry has the right to start somewhere and achieve all the success they can set their hearts and minds on! And we love giving people the opportunity and the right to be who they are and bring to the table all that it is they have to offer without anyone needing a portfolio or having to prove themselves to us first by way of having an Agent or Publicist!

So please send us your submissions, whether you are interested in cover art, photographs or pictures that tell their own story in their own right without words, that you think we can use, or something you've written that you've dreamt about sharing for a long time (but never knew when, where or how to go about doing it the right way and in the right place) that you believe will matter to the readers? And if we think it's good, even if it takes us an issue or 2 we will get around to sharing your wonderful work and we will let you know which issue it will be in! And if you wish to have a copy of the zine sent to you and are not within our distribution district for whatever reason, just ask and we would be happy to send you a keepsake copy of your published work! And don't worry you will never miss a thing because everything you ever need to know or find around the issues of the zine that you don't have you can find on our website where we post every issue!

The following is the Carnegie Newsletter, where they write about all issues affecting low income, drug addiction, mental health and other highly vulnerable society and matters on aboriginal rights as well as political actions, and all sorts of events, and other good to know stuff too! And of course your poems, songs, pictures and artwork so long as it fits the mandate of the Newsletter is also welcome.

Here you have the opportunity to send in your work for publication every 2 wks as the Newsletter is published twice a month! So if you live here in the DTES or have been here, or know all about life here, and have connecting and relatable work from where you either do live or have lived then you are welcome to send that material to me or directly to the Newsletter itself and if the editor thinks its good work that qualifies for any of the matters he is covering in the upcoming issues he will be publishing he will use it!

But beware he may FORGET to TELL YOU it's been published, (he's in his 70's so its very easy to slip ones mind when they are already busy) so you may want to sign up for the Newsletter so you can have the newest issues sent right to your email, or keep my email or the office emails close at hand and have a reminder set for yourself to check in with someone over here on our end to find out if your most current submission has been read yet and whether it will be used or not in an upcoming issue?

O.K. now could someone give me a Drum Roll Please.... As Promised...

* For though it may be last it is not least, here is the Big Industry Secret Company and my promise to blow the lid off that can of worms, and their secret society of all those whose who’s that are connected with the company or represented by them as an actor/actress, model or writer!

I have decided that it is now time to make things even, by making all this information fair game to everyone else out here working in this industry that love what we do and want to make noise in this life and make a difference in this world during the time that we have here on the earth!

You can still see all the listings at this time on the website, but these places tend to change the contact information on their websites frequently when they feel they are getting too much mail or too many contact efforts are being made! So I chose to rather be safe than sorry and share all the addresses separately here in this article, so no matter what they do with their website you will still have access to the office locations around the world! The guys are of the elite group where if you know about them you know about them but if you don't, you really don't and anyone who does know won't tell someone who doesn't know! And I don't think that's fair, how about you?

I will say this in my closing thoughts, that if you are good enough to get their attention, or if they know who you are already, then you've got it made if they contact you or if they accept your request for representation, you literally would not need to go anywhere else for like the rest of your entire career, whatever it is you do, and however well you do it in this industry if you do it to the best of your ability and you love it... then THEY WILL HAVE YOU COVERED all the way! You know that saying "We've Got Your Back!" Well E-One Entertainment is that kind of stand up good once you're in with the crowd of those who know about them and those they know about right back! :-)
