Vocal Should Limit The Number Of Stories Creators Can Publish A Day

Introduction

I wanted to see if "Latest Stories was running slow and saw that this guy had posted 21 out of the last 24 stories.

These are the other nine on page two; I didn't venture any further.

Why This Should Not Be Allowed To Happen

In the past, I have been criticised and denigrated by other Vocal Creators for publishing too many stories. I tend to publish two or three a day and worry if I publish two that are consecutive in the Latest Stories list. On Sunday 11th October 2026, I published six, but that was over the course of the day.

Sometimes supportive friends tell me they can't read all of my publications and I tell them to treat my work like a magazine or newspaper and just read what they feel may interest them. Though I have said this before, the only person who can read ALL my stories is ME.

I think between five and ten a day would be a reasonable limit, with a maximum of three consecutive ones submitted for publication.

When you get twenty like the guy above, the implication is that it's all AI-generated, and no one is ever going to read it, so it just takes up server space. I don't know if this benefits Vocal in any way, but it certainly makes me feel it should not be allowed.

Conclusion

I know I am giving publicity to this guy, but hopefully Vocal will take notice of my suggestion to stop this, because it does happen quite often.
