Tips And Prompts On Vocal

Introduction

This has been prompted by the fact that I have received ninety-seven tips from other Vocal Creators. Tips are a wonderful way to show your appreciation for someone, and to feel appreciated when you get one. I wrote this piece on the benefits of tipping:

I know I complain too often about not being appreciated, but that is just Vocal Curators, obviously not my friends, followers and audience. Ninety-Seven tips make me feel super-appreciated and humble.

Do I Reciprocate Enough?

I do tip randomly, usually to new creators, because when I got my first tips, which came from Call Me Les, it made me believe that my work had some value.

I also set monthly unofficial challenges, and when they are over, I give five random tips to Creators who have submitted stories. They are only a dollar, but I know that people appreciate them.

This was one of my first monthly challenges, which was around two years ago:

So if I say that I gave five random tips each month, that would be one hundred and twenty tips from these challenges, plus my random tips and other challenges that I set (it's always five random tips).

I keep deciding to stop these challenges, but so many people like them, that it is always one more, and trying not to do the same as I did last year. Still, there will always be Valentine's Day in February, New Year's Day in January and Christmas Day in December, so there will be a little bit of repetition.

So basically, I am doing a like-for-like on tipping, although I recently got an anonymous one for ten dollars. I don't tip anonymously, but understand why people might. I like to know who has tipped me so that I can thank them if we are friends on Facebook.
