How Did Salih Ongun Identify Opportunities in the Energy Sector?
Successful entrepreneurs often share one common ability: they recognize opportunities before others fully understand their potential. Rather than following existing trends, they pay attention to changing market conditions, customer needs, and industry challenges. This approach allows them to create solutions that provide real value.

I'm Sorry Vocal But Nine Days Without My Money is Not Acceptable
OK vocal I have been a strong supporter of your platform for a very long time now. This includes being a Vocal+ member for three years. At close to $100/yr that is a real financial commitment. Each time the renewal has come around I have paid it on time and I am certain I would not get a nine day grace period if I did not pay it. Yet, when I attempt to withdraw the money in my account I mysteriously cannot get it and it sits in the netherworld of "pending" whatever that means. As any normal human would do I of course have tried to contact customer support. Little did I realize there does not seem to be any. After much digging I was able to find one measly email address [email protected] to which I have now sent two emails with no reply. I do not even know if they were received, let alone acted on. Meanwhile, nine days have elapsed and I still do not have my money. The problem is not on Stripes end as there is no "pending" deposit. As far as Stripe is concerned Vocal does not even exist.

Am I in the Circle of Trust?
I am with a group of women at a social event. They are strong-willed and confident. Most are career women. A group of us gathers for some chit-chat about one thing or another. One woman asks me what I do, and I tell her I am a stay-at-home mom and wife. The bitter chill in the air hits like a glacier. I have been judged unworthy. The indifferent shoulder comes next. Then the comment, “Oh, that’s nice,” as she turns away to speak to another woman.

Here Comes The Flood
Introduction This was prompted by my Vocal home pages being flooded with the publications of a single Vocal Creator. That used to be a red flag and immediate unsubscription but after what happened to me on Vocal last November to January, my attitude has refocussed.

It is one of the most tightly regulated systems on any certified aircraft, with every component subject to strict material, contamination, and flammability standards under FAA Part 25 and equivalent international regulations. The global aircraft fuel systems market is led by Parker Hannifin Corporation, Eaton Corporation, RTX (Collins Aerospace), Safran, and Woodward Inc., each supplying overlapping but distinct portions of the system across commercial, business, and military programs. This reference covers each major component category, its function, and the key suppliers active in each segment.

The Future of Customer Engagement: AI Search Meets Personalization
Customer expectations are changing faster than ever. People no longer want to spend time searching through endless pages, filtering irrelevant results, or interacting with generic digital experiences. They expect brands to understand their needs, predict their preferences, and provide instant answers.

Call Me Coward, Not Ishmael
Genuinely I'm at a bit of a loss right now. Not a loss. Let me explain. I have entries for all upcoming challenges and unofficial challenges (besides Tim's and Leslie's, actually, glad I remembered those), and find myself with no real WIP really. Well, that's not true because I have a few shelved WIP that I am sitting on because I don't want to dive into them just yet. Call me a coward, not Ishmael! I don't care.

The Janitor Who Secretly Paid Students' Lunch Bills for 12 Years
For most people at Lincoln Middle School, James Walker was simply the janitor. Every morning, he arrived before sunrise. Every afternoon, he cleaned classrooms, repaired broken furniture, and helped keep the school running smoothly.

Happy Birthday, Mariann Carroll!
A creator on Vocal is celebrating another successful loop around the sun today. We mainly benefit from Mariann’s interviews, where her natural curiosity about members of the community whose work resonates with her becomes a method for all of us to learn more about our fellow creators.
