Fuck you, Peter!!

I am tired of living in your shadow so you can be the “brave” man-child for the Lost Boys.

I probably wouldn’t mind so much if the loyalty I have shown you were ever reciprocated, but it’s not. You spend days at Mermaid Lagoon with those sexy sirens in their skimpy bikini tops. And though you say you have no romantic feelings for Tiger Lily, you never distance yourself when she’s flirting with you.

But the worst part is that you used me for my pixie dust to bring Wendy Darling and her brothers to Neverland. I thought we were just sightseeing in London.

Wendy has done nothing but tell stories and talk about mothers. I wonder what Sigmund Freud would have to say about her constant obsession with hers?

I swallowed poison to save your life, and a week later you were back to playing your silly games of hide-and-seek with Captain Hook like nothing had happened. Your obsession with that man is not only tiresome, it’s dangerous for all of us. You jeopardize everyone around you every time you win and then gloat like the rest of us aren’t the ones who have to suffer the consequences.

You fly away because you can. You are always chasing the next adventure, never stopping to wonder who is left behind watching you disappear.

I have a heart, Peter. It may be small, but it is entirely full of a love that you are either oblivious to or too immature to comprehend.

I am leaving Neverland for good, and I am not leaving a trail of pixie dust for you to follow.

Grow up, Peter!

I was inspired by Kelsea Ballerini's song "Peter Pan." I have not read Peter Pan in many years, so I watched a bunch of clips from the Disney cartoon, and asked Google questions.
