As a young boy, I blundered with a different set of emotions… they were stringent for me to clarify. Something apprised me that I stood unique in this world, but something also made me feel that I was dissimilar. There was a feeling inside that I couldn't describe.

My Journey With V
It was not, until March of 2015 I decided to embark on that journey. As I walked I could feel I was there, a mere spectactor, no special interest in the miles, no special interest and no notion that any business relating to the destination had anything to do with me. It was the longest journey with the most brilliant and shrewdest friend. However, it was undeniable that something more than unusual importance was expected to transpire at the end, with the weight of anticipation growing heavier with footfall.

SHARK WITCHCRAFT? FEMALE SHARKS GATHER EACH YEAR BENEATH THE FULL MOON
Imagine a scenario in which storms overwhelm Los Angeles with shark-filled floods, and tornadoes twist those floodwaters into deadly twisters known as sharknados. Even while this scenario seems exciting, our emphasis today is on a true underwater mystery rather than the inventiveness of Hollywood. Under the full moon, we're diving among the mysterious group of Great Hammerhead sharks. In the seas near French Polynesia, sharks—often thought of as lone predators of the deep—display their secret social side. An all-female gathering of hammerhead sharks, with their strange behavior intimately linked to the moon cycle, has been observed in recent years by an international team of experts. Sphyrna mokarran, the Great Hammerhead shark, is an apex predator renowned for its lonesome behavior. However, between December 2020 and March 2021, scientists undertook an enthralling excursion to French Polynesia's Rangiroa and Tikehau atolls to see these magnificent animals. What they found was contrary to what was believed. A startling 54 of the 55 sharks saw were identified as females, debunking the myth that hammerheads are lone hunters. Thanks to the efforts of citizen scientists, the study went beyond simple observations. These eager amateurs took recordings over a 15-year period that provided further details about the gathering of the female hammerhead. This clip had an extra 30 sharks, most of which were female. Between 2006 and 2019, they consistently attended, which highlighted the place's potent allure. This assemblage is made even more remarkable by the fact that around half of the sharks seen were considered seasonal inhabitants. They often visited these atolls in the summer, staying there up to six days a month. What's more impressive is that some sharks showed extraordinary devotion by returning to the same atoll for up to 12 years in a row. What keeps people coming back to this particular spot year after year is a fascinating issue that is raised by this. While the presence of prey species, especially ocellated eagle rays that mate nearby throughout the summer, plays a factor in drawing these sharks, the moon seems to have the most bearing. In both 2020 and 2021, the shark population peaked a few days before and after the full moon, according to researchers. There is an indisputable connection between moon phases and the gathering of female hammerhead sharks, but the exact mechanism causing this phenomenon is still a fascinating enigma. Let's now set off on a speculative voyage. What could possibly bring together these magnificent animals under the full moon? According to some studies, it might be due to electrical fields, which could interfere with their communication or navigation. Others think it may be as simple as having improved nighttime vision, which would improve their capacity for hunting. The moon's cycle has a big influence on the number of sharks in the vicinity, turning this natural occurrence into a spectacular sight, even though we may not have all the answers.

The Tapestry of Life
I In a quaint village nestled between rolling hills and meandering rivers, there lived an elderly woman named Eliza. Known far and wide as the village's most skilled weaver, she had mastered the art of creating the most exquisite tapestries the world had ever seen. However, what set Eliza's tapestries apart from all the others was not their intricacy or grandeur but rather the heartfelt stories they wove together—the stories of everyday life.

From First Cringy Blog Post to Winning Prizes
Did you ever write F*** all over a page? Big, bright bold letters etched so hard onto the paper that they almost scored right through? Call it Eternal Anger of a Teenage Mind on a Spotless Page. I like to view that as my first foray into flash fiction. A lot said with the utmost brevity.

I've Been Writing for Lit Mags for Nearly A Year: Here's What I've Learned
The online literary scene is a storm of chaos that would make Dionysus weep with glee. Carnage churns the landscape, equal parts ink-soaked soil and vicious jungles. The torn bodies of old works, rejected works, and lost publications litter the lands, and your hopes and dreams bid you to step right over them. Sink them further into the muck of "yester-submissions" as you forge on in armor that may be the new shining plates of optimism, or plates scorched from burnout, painted with scenes of battles and cut out passages from a tale ongoing.
