HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?. Content Warning.
A white van. Iris noticed the white van slowing down in front of them before Alice did. ‘I’m being paranoid.’ She told herself. And yet, she picked up her pace to get home. It was late, nearly eleven at night, and neither her dad nor aunt knew she went to the after-party of her eighth-grade graduation.

My 4 Writing Goals for 2024. Top Story - January 2024.
For the last few years, I have refused to set a New Year's resolution. My attitude was cynical. No one sticks to the resolutions they set, and goals for improvement should not be limited to the start of a new year. The "new year, new me" mindset was a cliche that I was happy to laugh about instead of considering my own opportunities for change.

Fear Of A Blank Page
Introduction I don't know whether I am scared of a blank page, it sort of screams the great unfinishedness, a place full of nothing. It is the artist's blank canvas, the musician's empty stave. It's probably just the way you look at it.

Querencia- The place where I draw my strength.
Querencia- The place where I draw my strength. To be or not to be, to thrive or just be merely alive to survive, is a question I have often pondered upon. What does being alive mean? Does it mean extrapolating in the exteriors of materialistic drawls, of forging in an existence that is concealed with the perfectionism of having it all?

Ten Questions with René Peters
I finally decided to give the Ten Questions self-interview a chance. What type of writer do you feel you are? I feel like a writer who has a lot of room for improvement. I'm a writer that is terrible at their one real hobby. My main form of writing is poetry since it is easiest to vent about emotions through poems. I'm trying hard to get better at coming up with ideas for fictional stories since I only have two of those.

GOING BACK IN
PROFESSIONALISM RUINED, I HAD TO DO SOMETHING. I was GOING BACK IN. I love an income... an income that produces a MEANS FOR LIVING what I call life. Retirement is the most boring session in life so far. In it I am advised to try a number of things that include traveling to desired destinations... many of which I have never had the desire. Work life was cut short after accomplishing the basics for becoming a fledgling land developer or working an integral role within a land development corporation. I accomplished the basics for being that woman on a land surveying team and in their civil engineering corporation. I could work for any one of the many major corporations in their real estate department. I could continue working in the "cushy community" where I was initially hired to work as a simple licensed real estate agent after passing course studies and professional exams. In any path persued, I could finally earn a living to carry myself and my family... my son and daughter by my own honest effort from an honest wage earned. Beautiful.

Dear Hubby
Dear Hubby, As I sit down to write this, my heart is heavy with the ache of missing you. It's a kind of ache that goes beyond the physical distance; it's the yearning for the warmth of your presence, the comfort of your embrace, and the solace in your understanding.I want you to know that despite the strong front I often put up, there are moments when I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders, and it becomes overwhelming. In those moments, I long for your support, your comforting words, and the safety of being vulnerable with you. It's not that I don't want to be strong, but sometimes, I just need you to be my refuge.I've always found it challenging to express these feelings, fearing that my words might fall short or convey the wrong message.
