Lock In What You Want To Do
So I went back into studying Korean again. I was doing it where I wasn't going to do it because I don't wanna do it when people are doing it cause someone is saying so. I wanted to do it out of pleasure of ,well, I was where I felt in my heart I was confident enough to be where I'm slowly looking at the words and phrases and I promise you I get it even when I am on Bussu and Duolingo . I love that so so much. I got so much to lear ,but I wanted to share that. I say keep going. Find your own experience ,boo. Yes it's okay to everyone else's ,but it's not going to help all the way ,but please have your own experience . i'm saying this with love, Learn scared. Learn mad. Learn confused and other ways too. Just do it !!

Have You Seen My Dust Collection?. Top Story - June 2026.
A large curio cabinet with glass walls stands in my living room. Inside it lie memories of years gone by. Each trinket is a trip. Each art figurine is a piece of time. Sculpted statues, things of historic beauty, stand silently, waiting to be admired anew and given purpose.

Breaking out of the 9-to-5: My story
Working a 9-to-5 isn't for everyone, and it wasn't for me. Waking up before the sun rises, spending 9 hours sitting at a desk staring at a screen and then arriving home, eating, sleeping and doing it all over again. For some people, they are at peace with this reality that 99% of people have to subscribe to. But after 5 years of working at an accountancy office, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, I had really come to my wits' end. Alongside a demoralising 9-to-5 job that I had no connection to, I was also sick of the city life, paying ungodly amounts of rent to have nothing left at the end of the month to spare.

The Gorgeous Girl. Runner-Up in The Posthumous Author Challenge. Top Story - June 2026.
In the four years since Marie Wilson left us, critics and hoi-poloi alike have hailed her novel The Gorgeous Girls as one of the 21st century’s most astounding literary works thus far. Released in 2013 by HarperCollins, the book was brushed off at the time. In fact, its launch was so devoid of fanfare that Wilson is said to have remarked: “HarperCollins released my novel like they were dropping a boulder into the Pacific Ocean in the dead of night."

The Big Move
Hello dear Vocal friends, I am sorry for my long stretch of silence and happy to find familiar friends still here. For many reasons that will not all find their way to this blurb, I moved to Spain with my spouse. A driving factor was the urge to travel and see more of the world. Europe for a start, Asia hopefully next. Another thing was the ratio of cost of living to income. The math crunched out that we could live in Spain while my husband worked full-time and I focused on writing full-time or we could live in a lower cost of living state in the US, far from anything too extraordinary.

How Creators Can Turn One Strong Idea Into More Content. AI-Generated.
A creator may spend several days preparing one substantial piece of content, only to watch most of its attention disappear within a short period after publication. A podcast episode goes live, receives a few shares, and is soon replaced by the next one. A detailed video contains several useful lessons, but only the full version is published. A livestream produces an hour of original conversation, yet the recording is rarely revisited by new viewers. Even a carefully written article can move out of sight before all of its strongest ideas have had a chance to reach the audience.

Barefoot . Top Story - June 2026.
I’ve always loved going barefoot, and I’ve been teased about it throughout my life. That teasing has been good-natured. I can’t say the same for much of the rest of the teasing, from family during my childhood. But this is about going barefoot.
