There once was a little boy

In orange, white, and blue,

Who dreamed of Madison Square Garden

Long before he ever knew.

He'd shoot on cracked-up playground courts,

Count down, "Three, two, one,"

Pretending every swish he made

Had won the Knicks a championship run.

Through seasons lost and seasons hard,

He never walked away,

Because being a Knicks fan isn't luck—

It's choosing love each day.

Then came nights of hope again,

The crowd stood tall, the streets alive,

The fans began to rejoice.

Every basket shook the rafters,
