How Educational Backgrounds Shape Stronger and More Influential Faith Leaders
Faith leadership requires a unique combination of spiritual wisdom, communication skills, emotional intelligence, and organizational ability. While spiritual calling remains central to ministry, educational experience often plays a significant role in preparing leaders to meet the demands of modern faith communities. As a result, faith leaders who possess strong educational backgrounds frequently demonstrate greater effectiveness in guiding, teaching, and serving others.

Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival: Day Three. Top Story - June 2026.
I woke on my second day in Margaret River feeling exhausted, even though I’d had eight hours of sleep both nights. Actually, no, that’s not true. I’d been in bed for eight hours both nights, but the bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, and I’d woken every hour to adjust my position and try again.

Motivations
Who out there has trouble at times with motivation to do whatever? To be honest I have been feeling like this lately. I really like reading everyone's stories, but I feel overwhelmed at times when I see anywhere from 35 to 50 notifications from fellow writers. Maybe that is why I wish Vocal could bring back the bonus for reading a set number of stories like they did five years ago. Anyway, here is an acrostic for MOTIVATION.

Two of these creations are from across the pond, one in delightful regional slang from a region I hope to visit. Alright, I’ll go to the results:

We Need More Communities
I understand that there’s an occasional push for added communities here on Vocal. I haven’t been here long enough to witness any, but there are two communities that need to exist. Two will keep the symmetry on the page better than one, and these are two separate realms, although many confuse them. I intend to push like Sisyphus for these communities to come into being.
