My First Vocal Challenge Victory

Greetings, Vocal readers and subscribers! Eight years: that's all it took me to accomplish something that I achieved recently, which I'll explain in a bit. Over a week ago, I've written and published my 500th story, which you can read in the link down below. I previously told myself that if I were to win my first Vocal Challenge that we would celebrate it together. I logged into my account and went to my profile. All of a sudden, I found an icon that read HM. Turned out that I received an Honorable Mention for a story I've written and published. The challenge was called Twenty-Four Hours. I had to describe a place where I would spend 24 hours and the things I would do in that timeframe. I'll also post a link to the full story down below.

I know that I've written and published the story for the aforementioned challenge, but since I've won my first Vocal Challenge, we are going to celebrate this moment together. I say we, because you've been supportive in my work and any Vocal Challenge win I receive is our victory. Since joining Vocal in 2018, I had a passion and drive for writing. With over 500 stories under my belt, I want to write and publish twice that amount within the next couple of years. If you're still seeking tour first Vocal Challenge win, keep on writing stories and never give up. You're a writer who has a creative gift and showing it off to others. I believe in you and your potential. We're a loving and supportive writing community that have goals of our own.

Finally, I want to send my thanks and appreciation to Vocal and the Vocal Team for giving me an opportunity to show off my creative side. I was a 30-year-old jobless and homeless individual who was attempting to get back on his feet. Had I not discovered this amazing platform, I wouldn't have been able to express my individuality and personality to everyone. I'm committed to becoming a writer on Vocal for years to come. Now that I have one Vocal Challenge win, it motivates me to write more stories and aim to win more of them. I may not have an enormous number of subscribers, but that's alright. I may not be the most talked about writer all the time, but again, that's alright. I'm not concerned about either one, because I believe in myself enough and realize that comparing myself to others only holds me back even further in life.

I'm very grateful and blessed to be on a platform where I can share my opinions about topics I'm passionate about. The art of gratitude is something I practice every day. Appreciating the simple and smallest things in life is something I don't take for granted. This year has been wonderful to me so far and have been in a positive mood. I'm very eager to see what the remaining months of 2026 has in store for me. Continue to be the best version of yourself and remember that there's only one you. Embrace your originality and realness always.
