56 years. 200 films, one award

By Rohitha LankaPublished about a year ago 1 min read

The only one-of-a-kind Jackie Chan's remarks at the Oscars 2016. Learn how a man gets results

''When I was an actor, every year, I used to watch the Oscars with my dad. I remember in those days, my mother and father would say to me, Son, when are you going to win an Oscar?" I also explained to them that the day would never come.

It's been 23 years, and I went to my friend Sylvester Stallone's house. I could view these trophies at his place. I would touch them and kiss them and smell them. I think my fingerprints are even on them. Fifty-six years in the film industry, making more than 200 movies, and I've finally made the most important discovery of my career: I know why I'm here,'' he said in his blog post. At last, here I am with this Oscar in my hand.''

That's what it takes to be a man. Turn your dreams into a real person-to person-action. But you've got to try, try, try. Then some day, you will be able to hear about what it felt like to be Jackie Chan on your dream stage! It shall be a very beautiful story. There will be somebody there to clap for you one day." Don't forget that...!!
