Hi Vocalites,

I'm so excited to announce the release of my Poetry Collection 'Deadheaded' - available August the 1st.

This is the official description: ‘Deadheaded’ is a collection of raw poems representing a failed friendship and the emotional impact of this. The book consists of four sections, Cloud Cover, Crash Landing, Rock Bottom, and Climbing. Each represents stages of a broken friendship, from the seemingly perfect beginning, to the moments where it begins falling apart, the heartbreaking aftermath and then the eventual recovery.

It's available for preorder on kindle here.

This book contains many of my poems previously published here on Vocal. A Mouthful of Glass, My Jigsaw Puzzle Heart, Napalm and Recharting... just to name a few of my favourites.

For those of you who bought and read my previously self-published (and since removed) poetry book 'Wasted Love', I appreciate it, but this one is much better, I promise. From the actual poems to the layout and structure, I'm confident it's a lot higher quality.

It will be available in paperback and ebook on Amazon, and Ingramspark (if I can wrap my head around how to use it).

I commissioned Brittany Evans to do the cover art, as well as a couple of interior illustrations. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and I'm obsessed with how the design turned out. You should definitely check out her other work!

Thank you to all my subscribers for the unwavering support and encouragement. And sorry I've been so slack keeping up with Vocal for the past two years. I've also been focusing on my novels in the hopes of publishing some under my real name.

Anyway, thanks for reading and don't forget to mark August 1st in your calendars :)

Much love,

Poppy
