New car history
The new generation of Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe is the 2nd generation of high-performance C-Class Coupe created by the AMG department, and its previous generation was also introduced to the domestic market and received a very good response. The top version of the previous generation C 63 Coupe, the C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series, has driven fans and performance car enthusiasts crazy with its rare production and top performance.
The new generation AMG C 63 Coupe was first unveiled at the 2015 Paris Motor Show, and its limited edition model, the C 63 Coupe Edition 1, was also unveiled on the same stage, and less than a year later, this highly anticipated high-performance coupe was officially introduced to the domestic market.
The AMG C 63 Coupe's most direct competitors are the BMW M4 and the Audi RS 5. Compared with these models, the AMG C 63 Coupe uses a 4.0T twin-turbo engine with more power, a more luxurious interior atmosphere, and a richer configuration. However, in terms of handling, the current generation AMG C 63 Coupe is still a long way from the BMW M4, and compared to the four-wheel drive Audi RS 5, the wild AMG C 63 Coupe requires higher driving skills. In terms of model positioning, the Lexus RC F also has a competitive relationship with the AMG C 63, which is more of a daily driver and has relatively poor track performance.
The launch of the AMG C 63 Coupe brings more choices to consumers who buy high-performance coupes, its more fluid body lines, and two-door design will attract some of the consumers who originally bought from BMW M 4 and other models 4.0 T twin-turbo engine gives AMG C 63 Coupe powerful power performance, and its price is on par with the competitors. How the prospects we continue to wait and see.
