Innova Hycross Vs XUV 700

When it comes to engine specifications, Innova Hycross will not have a Diesel engine anymore. which is replaced by a Petrol Strong Hybrid engine. Innova will come with 2 engine options, a 2.0 litre petrol engine with a power output of 172 bhp and 204Nm of torque, while the strong hybrid engine will be a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder VVT-i engine that will produce 152 bhp along with an electric motor that makes 111bhp. Combined power for the hybrid powertrain is 183bhp and 206Nm.

XUV 700 On the other hand, the comes with the most powerful engine in the segment. It comes with a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 197bhp & 380Nm of torque and a 2.2-litre diesel engine capable of producing 152bhp/360Nm and 450Nm for the Automatic model. Both the engine comes with manual and automatic gearbox options.

Features

Toyota is not a brand that is not known for providing class leading modern features, but this time they have changed their approach, New Innova Hycross is loaded with lots of features like, ADAS system, 10-inch infotainment system and a large panoramic sunroof, Infotainment system for rear passengers, 360- degree camera, powered ottoman rear seat and many more. XUV700 was well known for the features from the time it was launched. XUV700 comes with 10.25 inch infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, different drive modes, ADAS and many other safety features. In terms of features the top end model of Innova will have more features that XUV700.

Which one is better?

Innova has always been known for its reliability, comfort and car like rideability. Innova Hycross uses a car like monocoque chassis in contrary to its predecessors that used ladder frame chassis. This will improve the handling of the car. Hycross comes as a front wheel drive car. Innova Hycross gets a SUVish styling this time, with the space of an MPV.

Styling

In terms of Styling, XUV700 has the aggressiveness of an SUV. XUV700 has 23 varients in total, which gives more flexibility for buyers to choose from, Innova Hycross on the other hand only comes in 5 variants. the top end version o f Hycross is feature loaded and is a mini Toyota Vellfire. In terms of styling Hycross lookes like an SUV and has the space of an MPV. New front grill and projector headlamps makes it quite a looker.

In terms of pricing the XUV700 has a starting price of Rs. 13.45 lakh and extends all the way to Rs. 24.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Toyota Innova Hycross price ranges from Rs. 18.30 lakh to Rs. 28.97 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Toyotas reliability along with all the features and new Hybrid powertrain will give a very tough competition to XUV700.
