The travel notes of the four | seven natural wonders of the world god's masterpiece, the grand canyon

The United States has 59 magnificent national parks, the most famous of which must be Yellowstone, located mainly in Wyoming. However, THIS trip to the United States was all by myself. Considering the physical strength and travel costs of self-driving, I chose to skip Yellowstone for this trip to the United States and first visit the vast and magnificent Grand Canyon, which is the symbol of the Western United States.

It was more than an hour's drive from Williams, the gateway to the Grand Canyon's south Rim, so I got up early in the morning and left around 7 a.m. It's a shame that my stay in Williams was shorter. This western town is worth a second visit. Turn from Highway 40 to Highway 64 and head north to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. The scenery on this stretch of road is very beautiful, but it is a pity that I couldn't capture the scenery on the road because I had to focus on driving.

At the checkpoint at the south gate of Grand Canyon National Park, you need to buy the park ticket, which is 30 DOLLARS per car for the 7th day. Considering that 30 dollars is a bit of a loss for only me on the bus. It's a short walk from the tollbooth to Canyon Village, in the middle of the Canyon. The Canyon Visitor Center has multiple parking lots at Lot 1-4.

Arriving at the Grand Canyon early, there were not many visitors. Open all year round, the South Rim is home to some of the best and most spectacular parts of the grand Canyon landscape and is visited by 90 percent of visitors to the Grand Canyon. The south Rim's peak travel season begins in mid-May, so come early to see the less-crowded Canyon. This is the Grand Canyon visitor center. 2019 marks a major milestone for the Grand Canyon in the United States, as the Grand Canyon National Park officially celebrates its 100th birthday. On February 26, 1919, with the support of president Woodrow Wilson, the United States Congress passed a law recognizing the Grand Canyon as a national park. This natural wonder has become an American icon, and it also allows visitors to get up close and personal with nature. It retains the heritage and culture of its native American ancestors, as well as its unique historical legends and geographical landscapes. At the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, you can get a map of the Grand Canyon for free, and the visitor center staff will patiently explain the route for visitors. As defined by the UNESCO world heritage site, the grand canyon has attracted numerous visitors, if like that must arrive early at the grand canyon to hike, hiking the grand canyon in addition to the journey of challenge and a great test of midday temperatures for hikers, so come early departure can arrive early to rest. Is the grand canyon from the grand canyon tourist center through the observation point mother Mather point, mom is representative of the grand canyon south rim viewing points, can see far east desert canyon bends, you can see the Colorado river to the west, here when I first saw the grand canyon, the sight is really amazing. Mama's Point is a must-visit for many group Tours to the Grand Canyon, so it can be crowded if you come later. It's also one of the few observation decks with a railing, and if you're on a group tour from Las Vegas, you're only supposed to have about an hour of free time, so a lot of group tourists might just see it and leave. After visiting the Grand Canyon in 1890, American writer John Muir said, "No matter how many roads you have traveled and how many mountains and rivers you have seen, you will feel that the Grand Canyon could only exist in another world, on another planet. Carved over six million years by the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon stretches 277 miles across the Arizona desert, covering 1,904 square miles. It is one of the world's grand Canyons and one of the seven most stunning natural wonders on earth. The Grand Canyon is one of the earth's most mind-boggling cracks, a dazzling natural palette of rocks whose structures defy human authority. The Great Canyon has been called a "living textbook of geological history." The surrounding rocks are mostly red. From the bottom of the valley to the top are layers of rock from the Cambrian to the Cenozoic, with distinct layers and different hues, and contain fossils representative of each geological period. More peculiar is that, although the soil here is mostly brown, but when it is bathed in the sun, depending on the intensity of the sun, the color of the rock is sometimes brown, sometimes red, endless changes, constantly reveal the gorgeous mysterious nature. It's about 3.5 miles from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center in Central Canyonville to the Bright Angel Trail Trail, and there are three major sightseeing spots along the way. Hike the Rim Trail along the canyon Rim, take the Blue Line shuttle, and drive to the canyon Hotels. But I think the best way to see it is to walk along the trail and enjoy the grand Canyon. From Mather Point, signs point northwest to Yavappai Point, which is only 0.8 miles away and a smooth hike takes about 15 minutes. This is the best and most accessible place in Canyon Village. The Grand Canyon is not the deepest canyon in the world, but its size and color are unmatched by any other canyon, which is the most important reason it is listed as a World Heritage Site. In addition, there are well-preserved and fully exposed rock formations that record almost the entire geological history of the early north American continent. As early as 1540, an expedition led by A Spanish nobleman, Lopez Corola, stumbled upon the Grand Canyon. The expedition team saw red stones everywhere, and was shocked by such a colorful landscape of wilderness, immediately named after the Spanish word "Colorado" (meaning red), which is the origin of the Grand Canyon. In 1869, major John Wesley Powell, a retired explorer, organized the first American expedition to explore the Grand Canyon. After that, Powell's diary of his adventure was published and widely circulated, causing great shock in the United States and Europe. Major Powell's expedition cleared the map of this vast area, and his explorations opened up new frontiers for the study of geology. The route from Yavappai Point to Bright Angel Lodge does not have a lot of fencing in order to maximize the original look of the rocks, and there are a lot of daring and adventurous people who go to the very edge of the cliffs and take amazing pictures on the most dangerous rock layers. While the photos taken here are really eye-catching, the most beautiful can also be the most dangerous, so you have to be careful when taking pictures here. The Grand Canyon is the etch mark of the Colorado River on this primitive land for hundreds of millions of years. The nature has carved the huge red rock faults on both sides into rocky formations and overlapping mountains. The brown soil bathed by the sun has endless color changes, gorgeous and mysterious, just like a fairyland. No matter how many gorgeous photos you've seen in the guides, there's no substitute for standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon and seeing the world unfold before your eyes. Grand Canyon is thousands of miles wide, unfathomable, standing on the edge of the canyon, staring at the immensity of the broad, will give a person a sense of calm and empty, in the face of the creator of the uncanny workmanship will indeed be filled with regrets linger. Here you can enjoy the grand Canyon from different angles to appreciate the sunlight and the refraction of the canyon walls, the canyon spectacular let you have to marvel at the magic and greatness of nature.
