The view from Fuore a nearby village of well known town Positano at the Amalfi coast

The Amalfi Coast is now a well-known area for most of people traveling, and for many it has also become a lifelong love affair, which you only have to keep alive through return visits year after year again. The nature is fantastic, and there is no doubt that the relatively short coastline is one of the most beautiful in the world.

The overlooked pearls of the Amalfi Coast

Unfortunately, there are far too many day tourists who do not have time to experience all that the Amalfi Coast also has to offer - namely nice little country villages in the mountains, fantastic restaurants, unknown sights and not least the incredible hiking trails that connect the entire coast, and where you can still meet donkeys carrying building materials to the far corners of the coast. The one-day tourists also do not experience sheep and goat herds with their flocks of animals, and they do not have the opportunity to stop at the small local dairies to see how the famous mozzarella is made. Nor do they stop at the famous confectionery De’Riso in Minori, which undoubtedly produces some of the absolute best cakes in all of Italy. For example, try the local specialty Delizia al Limone which is based on all the lemon on the coast - you will have an experience of a lifetime.

Booking a villa rental Amalfi coast

There are numerous ways to book a stay at the Amalfi coast. Over internet you can find a lot of diverse sites with their offer but the best way is to book direct with the owner but most likely agency and professional who knows all and speak many languages but certainly English to book a Amalfi villas or Amalfi coast villa rentals

Limoncello and the Paper Museum of Amalfi

Lemons are also used for the local liqueur Limoncello, which can be tasted and bought everywhere. A stop at the exciting paper museum in Amalfi is also an experience of the larger ones - but unfortunately not many people take the time to explore this fantastic craft, which is still practiced in Amalfi, and whose products can be bought in most places in the world.

Capri is known for many things, such as the blue cave that H.C. Andersen wrote a lot about. The Amalfi Coast has its own cave, Grotta dello Smeraldo, which is almost as impressive, but is unknown to most people. It is located about 4 kilometers from Amalfi in the direction of Positano, and you can take a boat there from Amalfi - or take the local bus or your rental car. Many have probably passed the place without stopping, which is a shame because it is definitely worth a visit.

Great local knowledge

I could go on forever - but you can not reveal all the surprises at once, because then they are no longer surprises. At the Amalfi coast, there are many villas and people who have a deep knowledge of the Amalfi Coast to find you and book Luxury villas amalfi coast , and our knowledge and personal contacts, so that we can offer you places that many others do not have the opportunity to - and we are of course very proud of that. But many of these places are very small, and have only a few rooms, so I recommend you book well in advance, if you want to secure your place. Interested in a trip to the Amalfi Coast?
