Some notable London tube stations . Top Story - April 2021.
To be strictly accurate, the word “tube” should only apply to those lines that run through bored tunnels, as opposed to lines that run closer to the surface and were originally built by the “cut and cover” method. However, the term “The Tube” is now used generally to cover all of the London Underground system.

Charity Shops and Car Boot Sales
Charity Shops and Boot Sales Thrifting thru England If you only visit the museums, tourist destinations, castles, and great houses of England, you are missing out on seeing the Brits from a different perspective. The lives of modern English Folk are better reflected in their Charity Shops, Car Boot Sales, Jumbles, and Market Day Stalls. I should add Pubs to the list, but this story is about the English equivalent of our Thrift Shops, and therefore extraneous to the story, except that they are great places to rest up when your feet tell you to cool it for a while.

musings from a parisian bookshop
I heard someone say once that bookshops are dreams built of wood and paper. My favorite lies on the Left Bank of Paris, nestled between a peaceful garden to left and the bustle of the Latin Quarter to the right. This quiet and unassuming bookstore is richer in history than the camembert sold down the street is in taste. The green facade of Shakespeare and Company is coyishly camouflaged by the pop-up park separating the shop from the Seine. Across the water, Notre Dame rises like the bestial queen she is as throngs of tourists flock to her embrace, leaving the dear bookshop unnoticed and untainted. Before you even step inside, you are met with an outdoor display of resale books and an immediate awe of the history and significance of the store.

The Statue of Eros in London's Piccadilly Circus
The status of Eros in Piccadilly Circus is one of the best-known “sights of London”, especially since it ceased to be in the middle of a roundabout at one of the capital’s busiest junctions. It has several features of interest that relate to its construction and significance.

Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberland
A visit to Dunstanburgh Castle, in Northumberland, is not something to fill in the odd half-hour, partly because no road comes within a mile and a half of it. The only way to get there is to walk! So give yourself plenty of time, preferably on a day with good weather, and appreciate the dramatic coastal scenery as well as the looming castle walls as you approach, whether from the north or the south.

The Amalfi Coast can still surprise!
The Amalfi Coast is now a well-known area for most of people traveling, and for many it has also become a lifelong love affair, which you only have to keep alive through return visits year after year again. The nature is fantastic, and there is no doubt that the relatively short coastline is one of the most beautiful in the world.
