Travel from sea to shining sea; by car or by plane, there's plenty to see in the good ole US of A.
The 250th
July fourth approacheth, yea and verily, and I couldn’t care less. I have no TV, and I like it that way. I have Make America Kittens Again installed on my computer, so I don’t have to see a certain predatory mug pouting on my feed. I keep up to date with what’s going on, and on the global smoke-and-mirrors game being played… poorly.

The Last Frontier: Inside Slab City, America's Off-Grid Desert Kingdom
There are still places in America where the rules feel different, not in the sense that laws vanish entirely, but in the sense that the assumptions most people make about modern life simply stop applying. There is no city hall, no municipal water, no power company, no property taxes, no homeowners' association, no neighborhood watch, and no official government management. Just desert… and people. Lots of very unusual people.
