Being an independent territory with oodles of attractions and English being one of its national languages, Hong kong could make up for an enticing travel destination. If you are planning to visit here anytime soon, here is what you should consider bringing with you for your trip to Hongkong.

A carry-on sized backpack

The most suitable luggage for a trip to Hongkong is a backpack and you don't have to come dragging a heavy suitcase as you enter Hong Kong. You also do not have to bring with you an extremely large backpack that will measure roughly your size! A fairly large approximately a bag with 70-litre capacity would be perfectly fine. This also means you don't have to bring additional stuff for your trip to Bangkok and with everything fairly priced you could buy whatever you want at an affordable price as well.

Clothing

Weather in Hongkong can be quite unpredictable and when it comes to clothes it is recommended that you bring in only a few pairs that would go well for most of the climatic conditions. Breathable and loose tops and T-shirts, 2-3 pairs of jeans, a windbreaker hoodie and something similar, few pairs of socks (3-5), 4-7 pairs of innerwear, flipflops, normal and hiking shoes, flats, dress shoes, swimwear, pyjamas is all you need to bring with you in terms of clothing. Whatever you are missing you could buy them in the markets if you want them cheap, or at malls, if you want branded clothing goods.

Toiletries

When you are in Hongkong and have planned your stay at Causeway Bay serviced apartments the likes of Hotel Purple Hong Kong, you will have your free supply of essential toiletries and other amenities. If you are planning to stay at airb&bs you will have to bring your own. Baby wipes, tissues, shampoo and conditioner, soap and moisturizer toothpaste and toothbrush, shaving accessories, sanitary products of choice, travel towel, hair products, sunscreen, insect repellant, deodorant and baby powder are some of the items that you will have to bring along with you.

Accessories and other items

Make sure that you bring a few accessories to add more versatility to your wardrobe and to embellish your charms. Also, bring along with you a few extras that you would need at important times. For example, a pen would be a very important item that most of the people fail to take with them. Carrying a pen would come in handy if you are trying to fill out forms or even when you are trying to write your contact details to give out to you're the person with whom you just became friends with. So here are few items and accessories like that you would need when you are in Hongkong. Sunscreen, shades, a compact foldable umbrella, a tote bag, a notebook or a travel journal with a pen or a pencil, books and magazines.

Medicines and healthcare products

Taking care of your health and safety should be your number one priority! Although there is a very less likelihood of you getting injured or becoming sick in Hongkok it is always better to be well prepared. So here are the medical supplies that you should carry with you at all times when you are in Hongkong. Bandaids, copies of your prescriptions with Your doctor's phone number, A first aid kit with ibuprofen, Immodium, antacid tablets, paracetamol and Benadryl, allergy medications, a hand sanitizer, a facemask, cream for bug bites and a bug repellent and mint to facilitate digestions and to ease out stomach pain.

Travel tech

You should also bring with you all the chargers for your electronic devices and a travel adapter. A portable charger and an extra pair of wired headphones with suitable adaptors will also come in handy.
