Bangkok is one of the most interesting places to visit in the world where there are tons to see and do with something for every type of interest. Are you a shopaholic? Well then, all the better! Bangkok’s got a range of shopping malls that will have all those branded items you are looking for. If you are low on cash but still need to go on a shopping spree, there are many options for this as well. Here are a few.

Don Don Donki

Located in Sukhumvit, this is one of the best Japanese stores you’ll find in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and now Bangkok too! The shopping mall is a two-storey building with the first story to cater to your taste buds. You’ll find a whole load of Japanese sweets and dried food items like Hokkaido’s Dry Roasted Scallops and some awesome Ramen too. There are a ton of products you’ll want to buy and stock up on when it comes to these packeted goodies. On the second floor is health and beauty products that are original Japanese brands along with other casual items on the shelves, but you’ll not leaving without purchasing at least one item since they are so cheap! This branch seems to be cheaper than even Singapore!

Central Embassy

The epitome of a modern mall in the heart of the city Central Embassy is an 8-storey mall with as many shops as you can think of. From the best world-class brands to the local brands and so much more. You’ve got the super-duper expensive brands from Floor LG to Floor 2. The first six levels offer clothing, homeware and lifestyle accessories. On level 3 and 4 you will be able to find the best places to shop for affordable local and international brands. If you are a foodie, you will be excited at the idea of level 5 and 6 having endless restaurants and cafes. Check out floor LG as well for places to eat and even a cooking school.

The Market Bangkok

Officially opened in 2019, this mall is L shaped which makes it convenient to find the shops you are looking for. Inside the lengthier side are the major brands that are quite costly, but on the shorter side are the affordable items that you are going to love. There is also a Chatuchak Market inside where all the famous Chatuchak stalls have now become shops. From beauty and accessories to clothes and dining there is so much this mall offers, and the best part is that it isn’t even crowded. You can go about your shopping without being in a rush. The Market Bangkok is located next to Big C Supercentre down Ratchadamri Road.

Icon Siam

Is this a viewpoint or is this a mall? What if it was both? Overlooking some of the best vistas of the Chao Phraya River, this amazing mall has some wonderful dining spots on the G Floor. This mall is six floors full of local and international brands when it comes to homeware and clothing, along with a few great restaurants to satiate your cravings. Not to mention, ever heard of an indoor floating market? No? you’ve got to see this one at IconSiam. It’s the typical floating market recreated indoors and of course the cheapest place in the entire complex. The first floor comprises of outlets of all the high-end designer labels while the second floor consists of more affordable ones.
