Things to know before you go skiing at this mountain range

Winters can be difficult, but they can also be fun if you are out skiing and having a joyous time in the snow. The Whistler Mountain range is open for winter and for travelling even amidst the pandemic, with all safety precautions being followed. This mountain range will be open for skiers and snowboarders from November. Make sure you reserve a ski or a board while you book your accommodation here, or you will be left standing in the snow and watching the others go down and have fun. Also, have a proper warm face covering to protect your skin from the harsh winds and the cold winter. Make sure you bring water and some warm snacks during your excursion out in the snow. Skiing can be tiring so, make sure you order or book yourself a great lunch just after this excursion.

Summer in this mountain range

The Whistler mountain range has many things you can do but it is not just reserved for the winters. You can explore this place, connect with the community and land, along with its culture during the summer season too. The summer activities in this mountain range consist of hiking, trekking and more. You can go golfing, bear watching, summer zip lining, explore the Lakes, parks and beaches and also try mountain biking if that is your thing. There are also cable cars that you can take from one mountain peak to another and take a look at the amazing views below. The view from the cars will seem endless and magical indeed. Outdoor activities also include water sports like kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing. If you are up for it and have the patience, you can also try your hand at fishing in the lake. For more adventurous things, you can go whitewater rafting or spend some time going on an ATV tour.

Rock climbing

Regardless of whether you are going here during the summer or winter, rock climbing is a fun activity people opt to do when at the Whistler Mountain Range. If you are a beginner at this activity, some things to remember before you start is that rock climbing requires a lot of core muscle, strength and discipline. Before you begin, you will first have to decide what kind of rock climbing you want to do, do you want to climb peaks or just climb a tiny hill by the local lake? Do you want to make it a fun activity where you mingle with people or are you somebody who likes to do it solo? Once you decide what kind of rock climbing you want to do and with how many people you want to do it, head to the nearest Sports Centre at the Whistler Mountain range and inquire about the places you can do it. If you are a beginner, you have to do a lot of research before you start rock climbing because it can be quite dangerous and even fatal if you go about it without the help of a professional.
