Ghana's Rampant discrimination: Unless it reads no Ghanians they play clueless

Ghanians don't think these things are discrimination unless it's against them!

Conversations about discrimination in Ghana are like talking to the leader of an American Ku Klux Klan group. Every single act of discrimination is backed by a story, or an incident that never in life happened to the person telling the story.

Nigerians are troublesome, ask them what a Nigerian has ever done to them, you will hear stories which most heard second hand. Or a story of a news article-where a Nigerian was arrested. They rarely focus on all the crime perpetuated at the hands of a Ghanian.

Many even have stories of a Black American saying or doing something against an African in the United States. Or they all have that one insult they heard someone call another an "African Booty Scratcher." A popular insult Blacks used on one another, as most have no idea who was African when growing up. Nor did they care either.

Endless hours spent online trying to understand why most Ghanians don't see not renting houses to Nigerians as discrimination. They hooting on about western nations which they refuse to stop calling "whites" nations., and racism. All along ignoring their own racism, hate and discrimination.

Gaining death threats, promised acts of violence is all I've earned in my endless writing about the horrific mindset of many Ghanians. There is always this blame the victim mentality.

Recently a Ghanian woman was murdered in Kumasi Ghana, she's unmarried but dating more than one man. This for some reason they call double dating, as if Ghanian men single or married don't do the same. The rampant children out of wedlock in Ghana has been known for generations. Yet men are rarely insulted for making hidden babies.

Bur a women dating and unmarried is blamed for being shot in her face, stomach and multiple body parts by her Ghanian police officer lover.

This discrimination is likened to a double standard or hypocrisy is common practice. A Chadian man living in Ghana once uttered these words, "Ghanians are hypocrites!" Like a bolt of lightening there it was. All the behavior you can see on the streets, social media, very much like a hypocrite.

Discriminating against a Ghanian abroad is racism and it's horrible. Having to apply for a visa to go to certain western countries is humiliating. Foreigners applying for visas, being forced to take vaccination like Yellow Fever, Covid-19, are fine for those coming into their countries. Paying bribery and corrupt immigration fees every year just to live in their country is alright as well.

It's not until they're targeted, calling Blacks from abroad white people, while they walk down the street is acceptable as well. Charging them more for everything is also acceptable.

According to many to be Black you have to speak a Ghanian language, or be dark skinned. To which in Ghana also comes with insults. Names like 'darkie' and 'blackie', yet there is a name for Nigerians in the country as well.

Alata: A term commonly used to describe Nigerians, to their great displeasure as it means pepper seller in their language. (Derived from the Yoruba language)

There is another that is much worse, Ghanians sometimes use their Twi word for 'Whore or Prostitute' to describe Nigerian women. Or other West African women they don't like in their country.

Ghanians claim to always be peaceful, loud noise rocks their streets, phone snatchers ride motorbikes & are near the intersections, which they call 'junctions', again they will deny this and blame every nation neighboring them.

All these examples of hatred, discrimination a Ghanian man once commented on an article insulting me for pointing these out. On other platforms Ghanians want to point out other countries like USA, South Korea, Germany, I didn't give away my life to relocate to those countries.

I also have enough education to know that these countries have a history with xenophobia and race. One would never imagine Black Africans would hate someone Black because they were to ignorant to know the person was Black like too. But why again does my skin color come up everyday in every conversation in Ghana? What is their problem with hyper focusing on race?

Or that Blacks Africans would hate dark skin, their neighbors, they friends, countries they've been situated next to forever.

People say surely not all Ghanians did this, from the bottom of the country to the top, from left to right, border to border. From police asking for bribes to immigrations scamming & bribery, even sexually assaulting me.

It was enough to question, why again is the Ghana government pretending to accept Blacks from America?
