Western Comfort on Trail

Even though Nepalese food is the main attraction, some teahouses serve Western food like pizza, pasta, and burgers. Keep in mind that these choices might not be as easy to find at higher elevations and might not be the best for getting used to the air.

Tips for Trekkkers

Hydration is Key

For a good trek, you need to drink a lot of water. To stay hydrated, drink water, hot lemon water, or home-grown teas like masala chai.

Acclimatization and Food Choices

As you climb, your body gets used to the thinner air. This is called acclimatization. During this time, choose foods that are easy to digest, like soups and veggies.
