A video going viral of a group of Black women visiting the disgusting monument to slavery in Ghana's Cape Coast, where they started twerking. For some the dancing is considered disrespectful. People have flocked to social media to condemn their act and some Africans even claim that Black Americans have no respect for Africa.
Black Americans who are the actual biological offspring of those same people held, beaten and sold from those same slaver chambers have no respect?
In Ghana where Black Americans flock, ignoring the countries disgusting xenophobia, colorism and anti-Black racism they have for their own darker skin citizens and other West African neighbors.
Ghana and other parts of Africa where they're scamming women into marriages, pretending to love them for citizenship? These are the people angry and those dancing women, the same people who call light skin Blacks white people or some that claim no Blacks born outside of Africa are even one of them?
The man that took to Twitter to post the video had this to say about the group of Black American women dancing.
This is called disrespectful but the fact that the Portuguese had Africans willingly help them sell us into slavery isn't disgusting. Or the president of that same country Ghana, asking for reparation for Africans in Africa and his government wasn't disrespectful?
Not the president of Ghana who created a "scam of return" where 200 people were hand picked, those who had social standing and Ghanians to push for them being chosen. Also those who paid money for reason unknown to this other.
However only 120 out of the 200 received their citizenship, one man who was there and didn't was never told why they stopped without giving him his. He has said they asked him to pay more money.
Ghana to Grant Citizenship to 200 African Americans as Part of 'Year of Return. To mark the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in America, the government of Ghana launched the “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” in a quest to encourage African Americans and the black diaspora to return to the country where their ancestors were kidnapped and enslaved.
There were 200 chosen but not all from the thousands living in Ghana were allowed. Even those having lived in the country for years, a woman running an NGO in Ghana where she teaches children wasn't given a chance.
From a fake account a person who might be claiming to be an African writes, "This shows the lack of respect Black Americans have for Africa and the slaves the came here!"
This person thinks that "slaves" came to Africa, this person has no idea that Africans were held there and sold into slavery. This once again proves that Africans are not taught one thing about slavery.
Blacks are flocking back to Africa and finding clueless, ignorant people who call us white and applaud slavery for fucking good music and western living.
Below you can read some of the angry comments made on a Flipboard about about the young ladies twerking at the slave chambers.
A Lebanese man posted on Twitter how he's told to "Go back to his country!" Around 5-10 times daily, this is the same thing I've experienced living in Ghana, being called white.
Ghanians will openly insult you, once a Bolt driver threw my food on the ground. I was told to "GTFO" of a Bolt drivers car because I questioned him about why he was refusing to speak to me.
He turned his head to say, "I hate you people!" When I asked who is you people, he didn't respond, when I realized he thought I was white, I asked him. While still laughing I said, Oh you probably think I'm white!
He then screams again to GTFO of his car. What happened originally, the man asked the care taker where I lived whom was standing near me where I was going. The caretaker simply replied that we weren't together, the man again asked well where is she going, I then realized he was speaking about me.
When I checked the tag number I got into the car, he continued to ask the caretaker where I was going, they had stopped speaking in English at that time.
