Feminist fitness defends the notion that women work out for them - they ain't training to be your trophy wife.
Unsupervised with Syd And TP Podcast
Podcasting has led the way in women's sports shows. Typically, TV has a woman on a sports show with several male co-hosts. Radio has made small strides. There are now numerous sports podcasts with women at the helm. That’s especially pertinent when the show reviews women’s sport leagues like the WNBA.

The Day the Router Died
The glowing blue light of the living room router did not just blink out; it felt as though it took the literal oxygen from the room with it. For Marcus, the silence that followed was immediate and deafening. His thumb instinctively scrolled against a completely dark smartphone screen, frozen mid-swipe on a social media feed that would no longer refresh. Across the room, his teenage daughter, Maya, stared blankly at her tablet as her high-definition video feed froze into an ugly, pixelated mosaic of unmoving colors. In the kitchen, his wife, Sarah, paused mid-recipe, her smart-screen refrigerator suddenly refusing to display the next culinary step. The smart home had gone completely dumb in a matter of seconds, and the family was left stranded in the quiet aftermath.

How to start doing pilates on a budget
One year ago, I joined the pilates course at my local gym. Before joining the class, I had tried doing pilates at home following the tutorials of the youtuber Blogilates. Although they were devastating to say the least, they made me feel strong and it was a great way to train my arm muscles without using weights. I had tried doing push-ups and other similar exercises, but they were always harsh on my chest muscles.

She Who is Relaxed, is Free.
“Growing up, I never knew a relaxed woman. Successful women? Yes. Productive women? Plenty. Anxious and afraid and apologetic women? Heaps of them. But relaxed women? At-ease women? Women who don't dissect their days into half hour slots of productivity? Women who prioritize rest, pleasure, and play? Women who aren't afraid to take up space in the world? Women who give themselves unconditional permission to relax? Without guilt? Without apology? Without feeling like they need to earn it? I'm not sure I've ever met a woman like that. But I would like to become one.”

weird girl diaries
hey get off the internet, I need to use the phone. Sixteen-year-old me was a force to be reckoned with. A product of her time, she was an emo kid to her very core. Her black box dyed hair was styled in a deep side part and side bangs, with stripey lavender highlight, of course. She spent her time holed up in her lime green bedroom, picking out the perfect song for her Myspace page, taking selfies with duck lips and her fingers in a peace sign, and waiting for her friends to come online on AIM.

THE RIVER WAS QUIET THIS MORNING
The River was quiet t0day. I make a point of walking down there with my husband most mornings, partly for the exercise and partly because I know how important it is to keep moving as we get older. I was a nurse for seventeen years and I know the importance of moving. I have no desire to lose a leg to vascular disease if I can help it. And if life ever does throw something like that at me, I want to give myself the best possible chance of recovery.
