Dare To Be Fierce!

Fierce mean having or displaying an intense or ferocious aggressiveness.

Confidence comes from the inside. Being fierce is an external expression of yourself regardless of those who may intimidate you or the atmosphere around you. It's an aggressiveness that's says "No matter what, I'm going to always look my best and feel my best.

When we get ready to go to an event that requires us to look fancy or dress up ,what do we do? We go and get our hair done. Nails done. Makeup done. We cant forget about that drop dead gorgeous outfit and heels that slay honey!

Imagine you're all dressed up and you walk through the doors of the event that you're going to. When you walk in, you see people that you think look better than you, spent a little more money and gave a little more effort to put their look together.

You have a choice to either cower and be insecure or remember how long it took you to get ready and the nerve to even look like you look. FIERCE!

Fierceness is when you walk into a room and you know you're the beez neez and you're not focused on how others look because you know you're the most elegant and regal thing in the room.

Fierceness reminds me of the word ferocious. Which makes me think of a lioness. The word "ferocious" mean to be savagely fierce, cruel, or violent.

I'm going to give you a backronym of the word "fierce" the way my Creator gave it to me.

F- Fabulous

Whenever fabulous was mentioned in scripture it always attributed to wealth. Who can put a price tag on you? No one! You know how much you're worth. ".......For her price is far above rubies” (Proverbs 31:10-31).

I- Inspirational

Whether you inspire creatively or spiritually your gift will open the way and usher you into the presence of the great (Proverbs 18:16)

E-Effervescent

When you're fierce everyone can see it. When I hear the word effervescent I think of the words "glitter, lights, bright, and shine". Part of the word effervescent mean "attractively lively and animated" (typically used of a woman)

He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. (Mark 4:21-22) DON'T BE AFRAID TO SHINE!!

R- Ravishing

"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end". (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Since eternity is set inside of you and no one can fathom what God has done since creation, know you are apart of that wonder. What better time to think you're beautiful than NOW? No one is going to believe it for you.

C- Courageous

Okay so.....fierce mean having a ferocious aggressiveness. Courageous mean not deterred by danger or pain; brave. Being these two go hand in hand because if you're fierce then you're not going to be deterred by danger or pain. Going back to the example I gave above, you're not going to shrink back when there's people or things that's intimidating in the room that you step in if you're courageous. "Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed". (Joshua 1:9)

E- Eccentric

Most may view eccentric as being a negative thing but I guarantee you it's not! Being fierce means you're peculiar. Strange. Not ordinary. You shouldn't want to be like everyone else. You should want to stand out. "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people". (1 Peter 2:9)

So with that being said.....DARE TO BE FIERCE!
