Be the change you want to see in the world

There's an old story. An young woman used to cut the end of a lamb roast before she puts it in the oven. One day her husband asked her, "Honey, why did you cut the end of the lamb roast?" And she goes, "Well I don't know. I do it because that's what my mom used to do. Then his husband said, "Ok then call your mom. I want to know the reason." The woman called her mom and asked the same. But her mom didn't even know the answer. She replied, "I used to do it because that's what your grandmother did." After that they also called the granny. Granny came with the answer, "Well, in our times the oven was not so big as today. So cutting the end was an option to make it fit in the oven."

Two generations later the same practice continued but no one knew the reason. They do it only because that's what they saw. Every behavior that we get to see in today's world is nothing new. They came from somewhere.

Police brutality in America, is happening for long time. The only difference is people are now conscious about this. People get to know more and more about this through social media. Domestic violence isn't a new invention. Misogynists have been mistreating the women for long time. But the difference is women are now fighting back. They are speaking up.

Joko Willing says, "There are no bad teams only bad leaders."

Pointing fingers to others is very easy. But have you ever pointed fingers at the mirror? Remember when you point a finger towards other then four other fingers are already pointed to you.

Everyone wants a change in the world. But nobody wants to be the changemaker. Will you be okay if your children are replicated same as you are demonstrating today? Because that's what is happening. You are either an example or an warning!!

People are suffering from different things from the onset of their birth. Pain is never insignificant. It is pain which make you think that enough is enough. There must be a better way. There must be a better way of living, a better environment, a better experience.

Two most important day of your life: The day you are born and the day you found out why.

Our life is from B to D i.e. Birth to Death. But what comes between B and D? It's C, which means contribution. So it is the contribution of yours which will be turned into your legacy and this will make you remembered amongst the people even after your death.

Be a leader. True leadership is not just dominance. It is not just assertiveness. It is much more than that. You have to achieve the success altogether with your team. As a leader sometimes one has to be strict. But the main objective of a leader is to attain the trust of people. And you do it by demonstrating your behaviour and visibility.

If you have the trust that there are thousand people behind you then you can only win one war but if thousands of people have the faith that you are in front of them then you will win the world.

We are in need of true leaders in today's world. We need a leader which will truly lead the nation. Try to be that being and bring the change. What you want your legacy to be? What you want to be remembered for? Build it and live for it. Nobody knows when one will die. Make the small span of your life memorable. Either die away or teach someone to live. The choice is yours......
