Georgia Tech 65, Hofstra 32

Lotta-Maj Lahtinen drained all three of her three-point shots on her way to scoring 15 points as Georgia Tech beat Hofstra on its homecourt.

Two other Georgia Tech players scored double-figures. Lorela Cubaj posted her third double-double of the season scoring 10 points with 11 rebounds, five assists and five steals. The 6-4 forward also blocked one shot. Center Nerea Hermosa also scored 10 points to go along with seven rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Georgia Tech made 45 percent of its threes, shooting 9-20. It limited Hofstra to 2-14 shooting from long distance, which was 14 percent. Hofstra was led in scoring by Jaylen Hines' nine points. She made four of her six shot attempts. The rest of the team shot 10-46.

Wake Forest 79, High Point 50

Olivia Summiel and Christina Morra combined for 21 rebounds as Wake Forest (6-0) outrebounded High Point 56-30 on the way to a 29-point victory. Morra led the way with 11 rebounds with seven points as Summiel had 10 rebounds and six points. Wake Forest was led in scoring by both Jewel Spear, a starting guard and reserve Alexandria Scruggs, who both had 17 points each. Spear shot 53 percent going 7-13 from the field, including 2-3 from three. She has scored in double-digits in every game this season. Scruggs scored a season high in the win as it was her first time scoring more 10 or more points this season. The 5-10 guard shot 63 percent, nailing seven of her 11 shot attempts. She also posted four rebounds, three blocks and two steals in the win.

High Point was led by a strong effort from Nakyah Terrell who scored 21 points with 11 rebounds and one steal.

Duke 73, Appalachian State 65

Lexi Gordon led Duke to its fifth win in as many games by shooting 4-5 from three and scoring 21 points. The 6-0 senior forward had a near perfect night shooting 6-7 overall and 5-6 from the free-throw line. The 21 points were her season high as her previous best was 17 points in the season opener against Winthrop. Shayeann Day-Wilson came off of the bench to score 14 points, with five assists. She shot 6-10 overall to contribute to the victory. Celeste Taylor paced Duke with seven assists, along with seven points and four rebounds.

Appalachian State was led by Michaela Porter and Janay Sanders, who both scored 19 points apiece,

Princeton 59, Temple 41

Princeton improved to 4-1 after beating Temple (2-3) in an 18-point road win. Three of Princeton's four wins have been by at least 17 points. All of its wins have been by of at least 10. Princeton ended the first quarter with a 17-4 lead. Over the next two periods Temple outscored Princeton 27-22, but Princeton used the fourth quarter to pounce and close out the hosts on a 21-10 run. Abby Meyers recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Julia Cunningham led Princeton with 12 points. She also hauled down seven boards, blocked two shots and collected one steal.

Maggie Connolly paced Princeton with five assists and just one turnover. She scored eight points, shooting 2-3 from three, while grabbing five boards.

Temple was limited to 24 percent shooting, making just 15-of-62 shots. Mia Davis led Temple with 11 points.

Kansas State 93, Abilene Christian 53

Serena Sundell led Kansas State with 25 points as the Wildcats stopped Abilene Christian. Sundell has found her stride during her freshman season. The 6-1 guard started off the season averaging 3.6 points and shooting 3-15, (20 percent) after her first three games. She also shot 1-10 from three (10 percent) during that stretch.

In her next three games she has averaged 20.3 points, shooting 19-32 (59 percent) overall and 12-23 (52 percent) from three. Against Abilene Christian, Sundell posted a career high in points, three-point percentage shooting 5-7 (71 percent). She also had career highs with five rebounds, and three steals.
