Aneesah Morrow - DePaul

Aneesah Morrow is now first in the NCAA in scoring due to a productive week. She scored 45 points with 13 rebounds and five blocks in an 81-63 win over Northwestern, Dec. 10. Prior to that game She posted 25 points and 14 rebounds in a 78-52 win over Loyola Chicago. The 6-1 sophomore forward from Chicago has scored 1,007 points and hauled down 583 rebounds in just 43 games. Morrow is currently sixth in the NCAA in rebounding at 12.6 boards per game.

Ioanna Krimili - San Francisco

On Dec. 7, Ionna Krimili posted 26 points in a 94-66 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. She shot 10-17 in that contest with three assists. The 5-10 guard from Heraklion, Greece followed that by leading San Francisco to a 73-62 win over Colorado State, Dec. 10, while scoring 27 points with four assists. She's scored 1,450 points over 78 games in four seasons. Krimili also has hit 224 career three-pointers. The junior has helped San Francisco get off to a 9-2 start, averaging 18 points per game. Her two games last week mark the first time that she has scored over 20 points in back-to-back contests this season.

Destiny Thomas - UCF

Destiny Thomas is a 6-2 rebounding machine. Her average of 12.4 boards per game is sixth in all of the NCAA. On Dec. 11, Thomas grabbed a season high of 24 rebounds to go along with 16 points in a loss to Seton Hall. That was her fifth double-double of the season. Thomas has recorded four double-doubles in her last five games. Along with having a career best rebounding season, she is also averaging career highs in scoring (13.1), steals (2.0) blocked shots (1.6) and field goal percentage (.500). Prior to this season, the senior forward, never averaged more than 4.8 points per game.

Taiyanna Jackson - Kansas

A 6-6 center from East Chicago, Indiana, Taiyanna Jackson is having a marvelous season. Averaging 15.4 points, 10.6 points, 2.6 blocked shots and 1.5 steals per game, Jackson is shining on both sides of the court. Last week she led Kansas to a 77-50 win over No. 12 Arizona, Dec. 8. She scored 19 points with 15 rebounds, three blocks and two steals. This was her fifth double-double of the season. In the following game she scored a season low seven points in a 72-52 win over Wichita State. Her defensive production remained at a high level as she matched a season high five blocked shots and pulled down 13 rebounds. Jackson is shooting 66.3 percent from the field which is ninth best in the NCAA.

Alissa Pili - Utah

Forward Alissa Pili has lifted Utah to an 8-0 start. The 6-2 forward is averaging a career high 20.9 points, after three seasons at USC. In her first eight games of the season, Pili is shooting 69.9 percent from the field. Last week she shot 13-18 and matched a season high of 28 points in a 76-59 victory over BYU. She also scored 28 points in her previous appearance which was a 109-42 blowout win over Mississippi Valley State. Pili is averaging 6.4 rebounds as well as 1.4 steals per game. The Anchorage, Alaska native is 98 points away from her 1,000th career point.

Zakiyah Winfield - Buffalo

When you look at Zakiyah Winfield, you would think she was 6-2, but no, the 5-7 guard is averaging 10.4 rebounds per game. Last week she posted back-to-back double-doubles in two Buffalo victories. Winfield shot 5-9 scoring 17 points with 14 rebounds and three assists in a 63-58 win over Niagra, Dec. 7. Three days later, the Bulls trampled over Long Island 91-59 as Winfield had 20 points with 14 rebounds, four assists and two steals. She shot 8-13 in that contest. Winfield, a senior from Reading, Pennsylvania is averaging 14.3 points and 3.7 assists so far this season.
