Daphane White - Jackson State

Daphane White will make her debut with Jackson State. The 6-5 center previously played at Houston during the 2020-21 season where she averaged 4.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in just 12.8 minutes per game in 10 appearances. Prior to playing at Houston she was a dominant force on the junior college level at Mississippi Gulf Coast. White averaged 15.7 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a sophomore during the 2019-20 season. Jackson State will start its season Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at North Carolina.

Rickea Jackson - Tennessee

Rickea Jackson will make her debut with Tennessee after transferring from Mississippi State. The 6-2 forward scored 1,085 points in 67 games with an average of 16.2 points per game. Last season she averaged career bests of 20.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 15 games. Jackson, a Detroit native scored 40 points in a win over McNeese before leaving Mississippi State. Tennessee will start its season Nov. 8 at Ohio State.

Ajalon Gillard - Florida Atlantic

Ajalon Gillard is a 5-9 freshman guard at Florida Atlantic. During her senior season at Foundation Academy, Gillard averaged 16 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. She was a team captain during her junior and senior seasons and a strong student in the classroom with a GPA of 4.6. Gillard was a member of the National Honor Society as well. Florida Atlantic will start its season Nov. 10 at Bethune-Cookman.

Shelby Calhoun - Xavier

Shelby Calhoun is a 5-11 junior guard at Xavier. The Louisville native returns to the Musketeers after averaging 7.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Calhoun started in 10 of her 18 appearances last season and had her best game of the season when she scored 22 points and grabbed 11 boards on the road against Seton Hall. In seven games from Feb. 4 - Feb. 25 Calhoun averaged 11.1 points, during her most productive offensive stretch of the season. Xavier will begin its season Nov. 7 at Miami University.

Brylee Glenn - Kansas State

Brylee Glenn is a six-foot guard at Kansas State. The sophomore from Kansas City, Missouri started 27 of her 32 games during her freshman season with an average of 8.2 points per game. Glenn scored a season best 19 points twice last season. The first time was in a road contest against Oklahoma State, where she shot 8-14 from the field. The second time was a road game against No. 11 Iowa State. She shot 7-12 in that game, including 3-6 from three-point territory. Kansas State will begin its season Nov. 7 against Central Arkansas.

Quinesha Lockett - Toledo

Toledo's Quinesha Lockett is a 5-10 guard from Omaha, Nebraska. Over her first three seasons she has scored 1,384 points with an average of 15.4 points in 90 games. Last season she averaged 17.9 points and a career high 5.6 rebounds per game. Lockett led Toledo to a 29-6 record and had her biggest offensive outing of the season when she scored 37 points, connecting on four of seven three-point attempts in the third-round win of the WNIT against Marquette. In the previous season as a sophomore, Lockett averaged a career best 19.6 points per game. She had three games with at least 30 points during that campaign.

Jaz Shelley - Nebraska

After two seasons at Oregon from 2019 to 2021 where she started just 11 of 55 contests, Jaz Shelley became a full-time starter at Nebraska during the 2021-22 season. In return Shelley led Nebraska in scoring, assists, steals and blocked shots. The 5-9 guard posted averages of 13.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and five assists per game. She scored a season high 32 points in a Big Ten Tournament second round win against Illinois. She also had seven assists and five rebounds in the victory. Shelley recorded a triple-double in a blowout win over North Carolina Central where she scored 14 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 10 assists. She shot a career best 40.6 percent from three hitting 82 of 202 attempts from long range.
