The Big Bash League (known as the KFC Big Bash League for sponsorship reasons, often abbreviated to BBL or Big Bash) is an Australian professional franchise Twenty20 cricket league, which was established in 2011 by Cricket Australia.

It is one of the two T20 cricket leagues, alongside the Indian Premier League, to feature amongst the top ten domestic sport leagues in average attendance.

The Big Bash League replaced the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, and features eight city-based franchises instead of the six state teams which had participated previously. The competition has been sponsored by fast food-chicken outlet KFC since its inception. The winner of BBL 10 (2020/2021) was the Sydney Sixers who beat the Perth Scorchers by 27 runs in the final. The Sydney Sixers successfully defended the title after winning it in the 2019/2020 season, after defeating the Melbourne Stars.

The Melbourne Renegades are an Australian professional men's Twenty20 franchise cricket team based in the Australian state of Victoria.
The team is coached by David Saker and captained by Aaron Finch.

They compete in the Australian Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League. They are one of the most successful teams.

He was picked by the Mumbai Indians in the 2015 season, where he won his first IPL title even though he didn't get to feature in the games often.

Unmukt Chand was named the captain of the Delhi U-19 team and the North Zone U-19 team. He then went on to become the captain of the India Under-19 cricket team for the quadrangular series that was held in Vishakhapatnam, India. The quadrangular series included U-19 teams from India, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Australia. He scored an unbeaten 122 against Sri Lanka and two fifties against Australia and West Indies. He ended the tournament with 336 runs from seven outings, just one behind Australia's Cam Bancroft. He also participated in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy later that season. In his captaincy India also won the U-19 World cup in Australia. He was the first captain to win the U-19 world cup in Australia.

The top-order batsman will now be seen. playing alongside the likes of Aaron Finch, Marcus Harris ,Shaun Marsh, and James Pattinson for the Melbourne Renegades in the BBL 2021-22 which begins from December 5

After his heroics at the Under-19 level - he scored 111 not out in that 2012 final against Australia to win the Player-of-the-Match award - Unmukt Chand was marked for success at the higher level too, but he couldn't make the grade and never representing India at the international level.
