In late October 2019 Brendan Taylor arrived at India. Taylor arrived in Mumbai on the greeting of one Mr S (the ICC has not uncovered his personality), who needed to "examine" with the previous Zimbabwe commander the possibility to coordinate a T20 occasion in Zimbabwe. Taylor had chosen to venture out to India in spite of his representative notice him "not to burn through his experience with [Mr S] as he felt unsettled about him." Though the methodology sounds like how Heath Streak, one more previous Zimbabwe chief, was attracted in, Mr S isn't Deepak Aggarwal, the man associated with the Streak case.

Taylor was on Friday given a three-and-a-half year restriction from the game, for four breaks of the ICC's enemy of defilement code, including a five-month delay in announcing a methodology. Taylor's representative, situated in the UK, had addressed Mr S in September 2019 with regards to the possibilities of his customer including in the Afghanistan Premier League that year. "In late October 2019 Mr Taylor made a trip to India for three evenings, four days, at [Mr S's] cost, and met with [Mr S], his family and his partners," the ACU said in a redacted relating of the case delivered on Friday by the ICC. "[Mr S] said that he needed to converse with Mr Taylor about setting up a T20 competition in Zimbabwe and to examine possible sponsorships, and would pay Mr Taylor US$15,000 for his time and administrations during the outing."

In a Twitter post last Monday (January 24) in which he first freely admitted to the methodology, Taylor had said he was "somewhat watchful" about Mr S's deal. However, the fundamental explanation he made a trip to India, he said, was on the grounds that Zimbabwe Cricket had not paid its players for a considerable length of time and their future as a Full Member appeared to be unsure. Zimbabwe had turned into the principal Full Member to be suspended by the ICC in July, however in mid-October - apparently before Taylor's late October trip - they had that status restored. The ACU discoveries reverberation Taylor's tweet in that he promptly told the corruptors he wasn't going to do anything illicit.

We are real individuals"," the report says. In his four meetings with the ACU - directed in 2020 on April 1 and 2, August 17, and December 8 - Taylor would give further subtleties of his different associations with Mr S. Not long after arriving in India Taylor got a Samsung S10 telephone from Mr S since his own telephone was "busted". He likewise got "some new garments" and was too "gave" with "different things for his diversion" during his visit in India. It was not long before he was to get back to Zimbabwe that Taylor was faced by Mr S and partners with a proposal to make USD 35,000 for "participating in spot fixing in impending matches."

According to ACU the proposition might have been for Zimbabwe's voyages through Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in February-March 2020. Once more taylor was reached by Mr S in mid-March 2020 when he was on Zimbabwe's visit through Bangladesh. Mr S needed Taylor to "work" for him during that series, which the last option denied - this was the call that provoked him to report the methodology. "Mr Taylor expressed that he wouldn't accomplish any work (which he comprehended to be a reference to fixing) for [Mr S] to which [Mr S] reacted by again taking steps to deliver the video to the TV and radio, just as his significant other.

[Mr S] then, at that point, requested that Mr Taylor return the cash and they could punch out. This was followed up by a message from [Mr S] to Mr Taylor again taking steps to deliver the video since he had would not accomplish any work for him. "Following the call he got from [Mr S] in mid-March, Mr Taylor understood that he needed to report this make a difference to the ACU (though late). This he did on 31 March 2020. Mr Taylor didn't, notwithstanding, give full subtleties around then, including making no notice of any conversation around defilement."
