10. Texans (6-4)

The Texans are making their debut on the power rankings. This is the first time I have ever ranked the Texans in the top ten, but they earned it. CJ Stroud is turning the Texans around. He's what would happen if you mixed Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow. The Texans have taken out top teams and could be the AFC South's champions. Demeco Ryans has improved the defense, and CJ Stroud and the Texan's receivers have been a revelation on offense. Plus, the team has taken the same heart and determination they showed during Love's era and carried over to this one but with better talent. It's an exciting time for Texan fans because everything is on the table for this team.

9. Dolphins (7-3)

The Dolphins are up a spot after they beat a good Raiders team, but it was an ugly win. The Dolphins' defense looked good, but the strength of the team and the offense didn't look good. The Dolphins are on the list because they continue to win at a high level, but they are this low because if the offense plays like they did against the Raiders, they won't be going anywhere.

8. Jaguars (7-3)

The Jaguars got smacked by the 49ers, but everybody isn't the 49ers. Most teams aren't, which is why the Jaguars beat most teams. The Jaguars beat the Titans, and it wasn't really close.

7. Cowboys (7-3)

On Paper, the Cowboys got a big win, but in actuality, they struggled with the Panthers more than you would expect. The Cowboys were only up one TD going into the fourth. The game could have gone differently if the Panthers had a functional offense. But in the end, the Cowboys won by double digits. The Cowboys remain one of the toughest teams.

6. Chiefs (7-3)

The Chiefs are 7-3, so I have to respect what they have done. 7-3 is hard to do in the NFL, but I have been worried about the offense for a while now. I've said the Chiefs must fix their offensive problems and return to who they were. But now they have failed to score in the second half again, and I'm forced to accept that this is who they are. The Chiefs' offense isn't their driving force, and they can't score in the second half. That's going to be a problem eventually. They ran into the team they played in the Super Bowl and lost.

5. 49ers (7-3)

The 49ers got another victory. The Bucs put up a fight, but the 49ers won by double digits and never trailed in the game. The 49ers are back on the Super Bowl hunt. Nobody wants to play the 49ers right now.

4. Browns (7-3)

The Browns just keep winning. Lose Nick Chubb, and they win. Lose Deshaun, and they win. The Browns have a top defense in the league and a good running game, which travels in every game. If they can maintain competent, healthy QB play, they have shown they can beat anyone.

3. Lions (8-2)

The Lions got the win against the Bears, but they really shouldn't have. The Lions were lucky the Bears couldn't close. But it's still nice to see the Lions have the hearts of champions, and even when things aren't going well, they can still find a way to win.

2. Ravens (8-3)

The Ravens got rid of the Bengals pretty easily, especially after Joe Burrow got knocked out. The Ravens now own the tiebreaker with the Bengals and firmly control the AFC North. Also, the Raven's receiving core seemed to take off this game even after the loss of Mark Andrews. I could see Lamar making his first trip to the Super Bowl this year.

1. Eagles (9-1)

The Eagles keep raising the bar. For the second year in a row, they are running away in the power rankings, and in addition to that, they won their Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs. The Eagles are the best team in the NFL.
