The Cleveland Cavaliers gained a 1-0 lead after what would be a close game. The Cavs beat the Raptors 113-112 in overtime. The Raptors looked like they would hold onto their lead, but the Cavs came back and won.

In the first quarter, the Raptors outscored the Cavaliers by 14 points. The Raptors had 33 points in the first, whereas the Cavs had 19. The Raptors' biggest lead of the game was 14. This lead actually came from the first quarter. Then, the Cavs chipped away at that lead.

In the second quarter, the Cavs scored 38 points and closed the gap between them and the Raptors. By halftime, the Cavs trimmed the lead down to three points.

By the fourth quarter, the Cavs comeback was in effect. The Raptors shot 5 of 24 in the fourth. They missed their final 11 shots in regulation. The Cavaliers took advantage and forced the game to overtime. LeBron James attempted a shot off of an inbound from Jeff Green, but missed. At the end of regulation, the game was tied 105-105. This was the first and only time that the game was tied.

At the start of overtime, Kyle Korver hit a three-pointer that put the Cavs ahead of the Raptors. This was the Cavaliers' first lead of the game. Ultimately, the Cavs held onto their lead, and won the game. The Cavs won the game after not having their first lead until overtime. The Cavs are the second team in the past 20 postseasons to win a game that they never led in regulation. ESPN reported that the last team to do so was the Dallas Mavericks in 2011, when they beat the Oklahoma City Thunder.

LeBron James led the Cavs with 26 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds. He tallied yet another triple-double. James is second in career playoff triple-doubles. He has a total of 21 playoff triple-doubles in his career. He is only second to Magic Johnson, who has 30 playoff triple-doubles.

Several Cavaliers stepped up in this game. J.R Smith scored 20 points on 5 of 6 three-point shooting. Kyle Korver scored 19 points. Jeff Green scored 16 points. He was perfect from the field with 4 of 4 shooting. Tristan Thompson had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Thompson came off the bench after starting in Sunday's game against the Pacers. George Hill was inserted back into the starting line-up, and Thompson went back to the bench. Regardless, he still played significant minutes, and delivered.

For the Raptors, they received contributions from their starters. DeMar Derozan scored 22 points on 50 percent shooting. Jonas Valanciunas had a double-double with 21 points and 21 rebounds. Kyle Lowry scored 18 points on 50 percent shooting. Pascal Siakam scored 11 points off the bench. The Raptors bench scored 34 points. This is similar to their game against the Wizards last Friday. The bench continues to be a factor for the Raptors.

The Cavs and Raptors will continue their series on Thursday. The Raptors will be the home, and they will try to tie the series. In fact, it is almost necessary. If the Raptors don't win the game on Thursday, they will be down 0-2 heading into Cleveland. This is a situation that no team wants to be in.

On the flip-side, the Cavs have a 1-0 over the Raptors. They won the first game of this series, and momentum is on their side. If they can win both games in Toronto, it will benefit them for the rest of the series. It is up to the Cavs on what they will do with the momentum from Game 1.
