For this reason, journalists never stop looking for personal financial information on famous people. It is a constant sensation.

Recently, the American CNBC released another piece of information from such a category - about 69-year-old Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. He is not only the nephew of famous American President John F. Kennedy (son of Attorney General and U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy), but also a Democratic candidate in the upcoming U.S. presidential election scheduled for 2024. He has the attention of voters. CNBC discovered from brokerage reports that the well-known politician invested from $100,000 to $250,000 in cryptocurrencies.

Many people knew that Kennedy was interested in and supportive of the cryptocurrency, but he did not hide it. That is why two months ago he even held the massive Bitcoin 2023 conference at the Miami Beach Convention Center (Florida, USA) in support of bitcoin. The politician is on friendly terms with bitcoin enthusiast, billionaire Jack Dorsey and other crypto-activists like David Sachs or Omid Malik, and is known to support their projects. Now, there is more or less concrete information about the personal investments of the presidential candidate in this direction, which can only inspire or even encourage hesitant ones. Those who have long considered investing in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies but have been undecided. That position maybe about to change.

We are all independent individuals and make our own decisions on personal investments. It is impossible to argue with. However, we are influenced not only by advertising or PR-campaigns of professionals, but also by personal examples of people we sympathize with or listen to. Therefore, I am convinced that information about the young Robert F. Kennedy and his positive attitude in the cryptocurrency will definitely not go unnoticed and will play a role in its dissemination.

Politicians, movie stars, musicians, and athletes popularize the idea of cryptocurrency to the people, and then the public figures themselves and their fans earn income. In trying to recall the most interesting examples, an interesting selection emerged.

A great crypto enthusiast was billionaire Elon Musk, widely known thanks to Tesla, SpaceX and other projects. First, he talked about bitcoin investments and shared his opinion on this coin, and then began promoting Dogecoin cryptocurrency. Some even accused him of manipulating its price. After all, one statement by Musk was enough to jump Dogecoin at once by 20-25%.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Apple Computers co-founder Steve Wozniak told journalists about their interest in bitcoin. Their opinions often changed depending on the market situation. But in 2023, Wozniak predicted BTC exchange rate rise to $100,000 per coin, which inspired many investors.

Keanu Reeves, Canadian star of The Matrix and John Wick, publicly admired crypto-assets, talked about his investments, and also became an advisor to the digital art charity the Futureverse Foundation that funds artists wishing to immerse themselves in the NFT industry.

Hollywood actor and venture investor (co-founder of Sound Ventures) Ashton Kutcher not only actively invested in the cryptocurrency himself and donated it to charity, but also often popularized it. He even made special videos. Many people know about his sympathy for Ripple XRP tokens and Ethereum coin.

The media also found information about the bitcoin investments of British actor Hugh Lory, who played Dr. House in the series of the same name. They also wrote a lot about American movie star Lindsay Lohan’s own NFT-token at Rarible and about actress Paris Hilton’s NFT-tokens.

Musicians also showed great interest in cryptocurrencies. One of the first activists was rapper Snoop Dogg, who started selling his albums for bitcoin back in 2012, and years later became an investor in one of the online brokers. Madonna participated in Ripple's fundraising campaign to help orphans, and is also known to accept cryptocurrency payments for her concerts like some other famous performers Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez.

The cryptocurrency was widely distributed among sports stars. It is known that boxer Mike Tyson launched his own network of bitcoin ATMs and mobile application for trading. Famous Argentine footballer Lionel Messi has repeatedly praised cryptocurrencies in social networks, became an ambassador of Sirin Labs and a partner of Bitget cryptocurrency exchange.

Football clubs with the name began to sign contracts in the crypt. Real Madrid did it for the first time two years ago when they negotiated for striker David Barral – he became the first professional player to be paid in bitcoins.

All this is a serious level of trust focused not only on friends and colleagues, but also on fans. There is no doubt that the number of cryptocurrency users will expand significantly. No one can calculate the extent to which public figures have stimulated the sale of a wide variety of coins. Therefore, this category of enthusiasts can definitely be considered one of the drivers of the industry. However, this does not mean that investors should recklessly invest the same as the stars they admire. It is always necessary to analyze assets, a market situation and make informed decisions. Observing other people's experiences will also always remain an interesting activity as well.
